I dodge it using clever fox (dodge 1 focus)

A plus 2 for Jedi, making his final attack 8.

But Fire has gone to a 9! Sneaky bastard has been downloading, Coeus- his base skill is 6!

Countered, Fire gains an exertion, Coeus loses one.

using the energy I gained from swing underneat Coeus his sword I strike back FAST and hard (weapon jade emperor 3 focus points)

*i suddenly turn and, running up the wall, bring my sword around my head and down hard, right into Fire* (Leaping storm, weapon, -3 focus, +1 exertion, +3 damage)

and I slide under your sword (dodge clever focus 2 focus)

-3 for Coeus means a solid miss regardless of the dodge. You don't quite time your run up the wall right, Coeus, and your blow comes short- Fire is well away from it. Countered.
