Juggernaut or The Hulk?

Doesn't Juggernaut kinda seem like Gladiator when you think about it?

Some comics (early appearances and one shots) he's pissed off and he's able to do just about anything while he spouts "nothing can stop me" every 2 or 3 panels.

Other comics (Onslaught, War Hulk) he gets this kinda fear built up inside and it apparently has a devastating effect on his overall character.

And Hulk CAN be killed. Juggernaut almost killed him before Red Skull ordered him to stop.

Of course Hulk can be killed.

And Juggs can be stopped, can be hurt, and can be defeated.

hulk healed from nothing b4, he is as invulnerable as juggie, and both can be hurt so theres no advantage there. hulk has the strength advantage and would eventually prove too powerful for juggie to handle.i even think a villain like abomination would too be too powerful for juggie to handle.

I agree with almost everything you said except for "as invulnerable as juggie". Juggernaut is considerably more resistant to damage than Hulk.

I guess it's really irrelevant since no damage will be done to either combatant until Hulk is pissed enough to beat Juggs.

Hulk will NEVER be strong enough to hurt Jugs, EVER.
Dont ever argue for that, because you're wrong. HE NEVER HAS AND NEVER WILL HURT JUGS WITHOUT MAGIC OR PSYCHIC HELP!

Hulk WILL become stronger than Jug but not by much, Jug can amp his strength up as well, maybe not infinitely but amp none-the-less.

If it's to the death Jugs wins
If this is a KO fight Jugs wins
If this is a Submission fight Jugs wins
If Hulk only needs to pin jug for a sec then Hulk wins.

Jug is everything Hulk would be if Hulk was an avatar for a God.

No, Hulk couldn't ever physically hurt jugs, no one has ever physically hurt jugs. EVER . Hulk on the other hand, has been hurt(by jugs)....can get tired(while fighting jugs) and has been nearly killed.

Yes, with magic Jugs can be stopped , with magic he can be hurt with magic he can be beat...but HULK has no magic.

I know how most pro hulkers think "Well Hulk will sooner or later become strong enough to negate Jugs magic"

Just to show you the scope of Jugs magic,

Cyttorak said Jugs failed him, so Cytt wanted to take all his powers back he gave to jugs, he TRIED but couldnt....Jugs still has a lot of the powers he had before hand.
That just goes to show you the power of the Gem of Cyttorak, even The Man who created it cant completly negate it. (kinda like the bond between GOD and our freewill)

Hulk, as great as he is, isnt great enough to win againt Jugs unless something extraordianary happens.

There's nothing that God CAN'T do. Just some things that he won't.

Cytorrack, however, tried something and FAILED.

Which implies that his powers are FINITE (i.e. limited), which in turn implies that Jugg's protection is therefore finite also.

I'd say that Hulk indeed has the potential to hurt and kill Juggs.

As Cosmic Cube has pointed out to me before - Hulk has performed the seemingly impossible on several occassions.

Hurting JUggs is seemingly impossible - hence Hulk could probably do it! 😄

Yeah the reasoning Isn't too great but the fact remains that Cyttorak's powers are finite. And they aren't even as high as many have been saying, there have been plenty of examples of Juggs being hurt by upper end super-heavywieghts on this thread and on others.

Hulk has overcome the power of gods in the past. Cyttorak's enchantment is not unbreakable.

Not really. Juggernaut's power is simply an enchantment. Hulk has broken such enchantments in the past, i.e. Odin's enchantment on the Asgardian Destroyer. It's not illogical to say that Hulk could break Cyttorak's enchantment.

The point was totally missed.

The Gem Jug's power comes from is SO powerful cyttorak himself couldnt totally negate it, and Hulk is nothing to Cyttorak.

Nope, every example has been shown to be PIS or something to do with Onslaught.

Never has there ever been an example of Jugs being physically hurt without the aid of magic or telepathy. Not once.

Juggernaut is an exemplar. His power is Cyttorak's. Cyttorak created the gem.

Juggernaut may have beaten Cyttorak through willpower alone. I can't understand why Cyttorak could not remove his power.

Juggernaut was hurt in Hulk 404 before the backlash hit. The backlash knocked him unconscious.

What are you talking about? There's the one with professor Hulk clearly knocking the wind out of him, and then there's Thor's supreme thrashing of him. And those are just the ones I can remember.

Jug wasnt hurt before the backlash, he was just overpowered down to his knees. He was getting back up.

Thor's hammer and Thors power are all magic. And still Thor couldnt do but a tiny amount of harm to him.

Like i said, he's never been harmed without magic or mental attacks.

No, he was brought to his knees with pain, before the backlash knocked him out. And he was so scared of Thor he actually tried hiding behind that little shield of his, and afterwards got the living snot beat out of him physically. Not to mention that in the Thor fight before that a sick Thor sent him flying back while he was coming at him. Can't be stopped my ass!

Exactly, He resisted Thor's mightiest magical blast, and then Thor resorted to blows and beat the living Hell out of Juggs. I still don't understand how you can see being knocked to your knees by a gut punch in any way mean being over powered. And even if you want to argue that he was overpowered it just says even less about Cyttorak.

Cyttorak couldn't even stop his own Gem eh? What a worthless powerless God he's turning out to be.
