The poll was a good idea, I knew it wouldn't work as you planned it to though. There are too many things going into this; biased Hulk fanboys, people that know little to nothing about Juggernaut, people unwilling to believe that Hulk has a match in this world, people tryign to find the smallest things to give Hulk an edge, Hulk's popularity, an so on and so on. I thought it was decisive when we said it could go either way, which it can, but some people just refuse to let that go. Some folks just don't believe their hero can fall. There's only a handful of people on here that are actually acknowledging both characters abilities and limitations also. I'll admit, had this been about 2 years ago, I would've definitely went with Hulk, that was until I learned just what Juggernaut was actually capable of, and that he's already gotten the best of Hulk more than once. I'm a Hulk fan too, like most people here, but after looking at those facts I had to admit that Hulk could be bested by Juggernaut, "could be." That would go with any of my favorite characters, I'll willingly admit when they've met their match, or in some cases outmatched, unfortunately some people aren't so open minded in their thoughs. Even those on here that go for the Hulk at least admit that Juggernaut can match Hulk, even those that think the fight goes to Hulk have at least given good arguments on it, unlike some few that come up with silly or unrealistic things pertaining to this fight.
Anyways, that's all I have to say for now, but to finish off, this fight can go either way. Hulk can't hurt Juggernaut, it's been stated, there's no argument that can really disprove it, but Hulk can win by other means, and not by cutting off Juggernaut's power as link said, Banner's smart, but not that smart. He does science, not magic. And to go and get help, that then longer makes this a Juggernaut/Hulk fight, it's then a Juggernaut/Hulk and friends fight. This fight, uninterupted, could be one of the biggest slugfest ever. Just remember folks, when you think about the fight, keep an open mind, but at the same time be realistic.

A straight up street fight between the two of them with no outside help or interference could go either way. Juggernaut is definately a contender in this fight, even if some people refuse to admit it or just don't realise it.

I agree, it can most definitly go either way. I wasn't too fond of how Juggs beat Hulk when he was in normal street clothes...but a win is a win. Hulk had plenty of time to go berserk instead of holding back and he didn't. So he deserved to lose.
There's never been a legitament fight between the two of them. Either one got the drop on the other, or their power levels were augmented.

Just because the discussion has gone on for a very long time means it has to be terminated? There's no rules being broken by keeping a thread open for long periods of time.
The idea of having the poll decide the victory is silly. Anyone could come in.. see two options and pick one without considering anything that's been talked about. The poll is pointless. People just want it ended.. and with no legitimate reason. "I think it's gone on long enough" is not a valid arguement for closing a thread.
So why not leave it open to discussion rather than close it for no good reason?

Just because you and a few others have nothing more to contribute does not justify the closing of a discussion. If you are out of things add to the discussion, leave it, but don't ask for everyone else to do the same based soley on your lack of things to contribute.

Obviously you didn't read everything I put up. Yeah Hulk got the majority vote, but you have to admit most of it is popularity, along with those that actually gave a good argument on it. At least you acknowledged that this poll won't settle anything, sorry Muta, but it's true. I personally went with Juggernaut because of not just his strength, which as I said rivals Hulk's, but his invunerability and that he never wears down. It's like I said a long time ago, the main factor of this fight would be stamina. Hulk can go for days if he needed to, and get stronger and stronger in the process, but Juggernaut can simply take it with a smile on his face, and even if Hulk finally got stronger than Juggernaut, then Juggernaut can simply wait him out until Hulk starts to wear down, if Hulk doesn't find a way to take Juggy out of the fight by then. But then again neither's peak strength has been tested, so it's hard to say just how long that would be. I think Hulk could win it, but he'd have to strategize a bit. I'm not being biased about the whole fight, as it looks like you're accusing me of doing, I'm just keeping an open mind about it. But obviously that's too hard for some people to do on here. I wouldn't put a victory past Hulk, but until that time, I have to go with Juggernaut. Yes it's a good topic but honestly how much more can be said, not to say me or others will always "petition to close threads that have gone on for 1,154 pages but really people are repeating the same things over and over. But like I've been telling for a while now. If you are tired of the thread. You can move on. There's no valid reason why you or anyone else should get to decide to close a thread when it's not violating any rules by remaining open. New people join up everday and maybe they'll have something new to contribute to it later. But just because you and a few others are out of material to add to the discussion is no reason to shut it down.
So if you're finished, move on to a new topic, but don't ask everyone else to do the same, or to close the topic because you think it's done.

They've fought before.. so it's not about who would win if they fought. The fight has already gone both ways before, and always from outside interference. So it's about how each one could hypothetically win if there wasn't outside interference. As in just the two of them dukeing it out until one goes down for the count.

There are infinite possible avenues to every discussion, each person who comes in brings something new to the table and people who've already been discussing can then have some new angle to think about. But what you are doing is telling everyone to do is stop the dicussion because you are out of ideas. Because you think it's gone on long enough. Well, I have some unsettling news for you, Link. This isn't about you, what you want, what you think, or how much interest you have left for this topic. If you're out, then you're out, go then. But don't try and tell everyone to stop just because your idea pool is run dry for this subject.
If the thread is to die, then it let be of natural causes, stop trying to kill it. If everyone loses interest on their own and they stop posting completely, then, it's dead and will fade into obscurity. But if that happens it's not for you to decide.

While we're actually on the subject, do you have anything to say for either? You haven't exactly be on topic for a while yourself. As I recommened earlier, if you're out of things to say.. find yourself a new topic.
Now, since you seem to think there's nothing new to bring up. I'll bring up something that I don't think has been meantioned as of yet.
Juggernaut could use his forcefield while grabbing Hulk in a headlock, covering his head with the field and cutting off his air supply. Or far more realisticly, he could remove one of the bands from his arm and use it to strangle Hulk. Since the armor is cloth it could wrap around Hulk's neck, but since it is a mystical material from another dimension there's no chance it would break no matter how tightly it was wrapped around his throat. There's a way Juggernaut could win, and he could either use that method to knock Hulk out.. or keep going after he was knocked out and murder him.
