U know how mutant powers are cancelled out if they are directly related, I wanted to know for example if Storm used a lightning bolt on a mutant relative, would they get hurt? ( I'm not sure since lightning is electricity which comes from nature) or If Jean, Rachel, Nate, Cable, Maddie or a telekinetic in that gene pool were to brawl, could they tear each other apart? or not since they are related even though they are not projecting energy blasts on each other, like psi-bolts and the like.
I would appreciate an answer with a statement on why you think so, thank you! 😄

I always thought powers canceled each other out only worked if they were like brothers and sisters..I remember Cyclops blasting Cable with an optic blast in the comics and the cartoon.

I think it's like if the powers are relative in nature, not the wielders of the power. You are usually immune to your own power so if someone else has the same(or a similar) one u should be immune there too? Why would relatives be immune if their powers are different? Cus they share a gene pool? That's weird... (Plus the summerses/greys have fought with powers.)
Maybe if both wielders get their energy from the same source or something like that. Has there been any other examples than cyklops and havok (cyke uses solar energy/havok cosmic energy, which doesnt really support my theory)?

I got a really important question.....

Hulk Power sugested that Marvel do an X-Woman Bikini Calendar and i agreed and want to start some sort of petition or something to send to Marvel along with a list of the girls we'd like to see in the calendar.....Maybe get this going so that they have one done for 2006

Does anyone Know how we could go about getting this going or could somebody create a petition like this?

Has any one read Live Wire or The Runaways and know if their any good?? I'm looking to read other comics that don't have the X brand name in it. Any suggestions in what to look into??

I always liked Sentinal, but I think they stopped making it.

Runaways is supposed to be good. You like [or love, 😛] NYX, so you'd like the kids of Runaways, I think they're really cool. The plot is interesting, too. I'd recommend reading the volumes before going out and buying the issues on sale right now, it'd make much more sense.

Personally I haven't read it, but an extremely close friend reads it and simply adores it. And they've got good taste, trust me.

As for Sentinel...I remember that. From Marvel's Tsunami Manga books. The little boy who finds a Sentinel in a junkyard and it becomes his. Like...umm, that Batman Beyond episode. Eww, Batman Beyond...*shudder*

Is that the same kid that in Here comes Tomorrow (in New X-men) was grown up and had a sentinel as a buddy/pet. He was named Tom skylark I think and called the sentinel Rover. Wait a minute isn't that set like 150 years in the future? Then it can't be the same, can it? 😕

Also I too have heard nothing but good things about Runaways and plan on buying it myself. 🙂

Oh ok. 😄
I read not to long ago something about Iron man being replaced by a time traveling younger version of Tony, and briefly thought Tony+time travel=tom skylark? when u said that.

A thing I was thinking about. X-man, Dark Beast, Sugarman and Holocaust all came across from AoA to 616. We know X-man=cable, Dark BEast=beeast, but does that mean there's also a 616 sugarman and 616 holocaust (or nemesis before the suit) out there? 😕
Think about it, TWO Sugarmen! 😂
