True I never ment to accuse anyone of the fact that believing was easy, it is quite hard. I have a lot of respect for ppl with a deep faith, it is nice to see ppl so devoted to a cause, I'm just not one of them.
There is such a thing as bad faith. To use a completely unrelated example, many people had a lot of faith in Hitler before and during WWII. (Not that I'm comparing god to hitler). I'm just saying that truly believing in something with all your heart doesn't necessarily make it right.

Blind faith is always risky. I believe in a critical mind, always keep thinking for yourself. That does not automatically mean IMHO, that God is not an option.
I know many other people have gone through the same thing. I've read that Finti was born into a religion, but changed later due to his growth and his own personal beliefs, which didn't coincide with the religion he was born inwell my parents werent exactly practicing Christians. SO I became a member of the stte church cause my parents wasnt a member of another congregation nor did they utter any wishes to me not being a member. The task of doing so is more bureaucracy than the worst bureaucratic things invented.
My daughter will get the opportunity to make her own choice when she is old enough to do so, but I wont teach her a thing about chrisitianty though she get enough of that in school

FE> Okay, let me try to word it again: You originally asked if Buddhism was “worshipping that statue”. It’s like asking if Christianity is worshipping “that sculpture.”And once again: Where in the Bible quotes you posted does it say ANYTHING about the different colours of humans appearing. You keep claiming it does, and I can’t see the word colour anywhere.
FE> No, it wouldn’t make the Bible more believable to me, as I do not believe in what the Bible preaches. I am also not asking what YOU think, I’m asking if including dinosaurs wouldn’t have MADE the Bible more believable. This is a general question.
Being that that statement on dinasaurs was to me, would it not be fair to think you were asking me?? lol 😛 if you don't want my opinion then stop asking me questions, not being rude, but isn't everyone in here stating opinion and giving proof, rather or not one accepts that as proof is up to them. We are all in this discussion, thxx 🙂

WhiteEagle> My pleasure. It’s called logic 😄 Here you can read more about it http://www.infidels.org/news/atheism/logic.html A MUST in debating. 🙂FE> “The scriptures i did give you do tell that, that is where it took place. From that point in the bible, everyone went to the diff parts of the earth, but you can believe what you want to believe.”
No. The parts of the Bible you showed me merely tells of the Bibles view on how and when different languages arose. I asked how the different skin-colours arose, silly. Don’t tell me language and skin-colour is the same.
This has ZERO to do with what I believe, but everything to do with yet another thing the Bible doesn’t mention.”And asking about the Statue, ummmmmmmmmm there is ALOT of people that DO worship the buddah statue and pray. did I say darth did, NO, there is a ton that do.”
🙄 Oh, so when you pray to a sculpture of Jesus on the Cross, you are worshipping a sculpture. I see…And did I say you said Darth worshipped a statue? Please, strick to what’s being written and don’t invent wrongs against you. Or are you hearing things again?
”I don't care if you believe me or not, that is strictly up to you, we all have opinions, agree to disagree if you don't like.”
Believe what? This is not a belief forum. It doesn’t matter if I believe YOU. It matters if you can make an argument, participate in a debate and contribute something meaningful to it.About dinosaurs: Wouldn’t it make the Bible a WHOLE lot more credible, if it contained info on the dinosaurs?
I never said, YOU said that ****And did I say you said Darth worshipped a statue? Please, strick to what’s being written and don’t invent wrongs against you. Or are you hearing things again?*****
I never said that YOU SAID I said, Darth worshipped statues, lol you need to read correctly and the other post before posting. 🙂

Sorry FE but I don't believe you can start believing just by reading the bible or praying or going to church, you are born to one religion IMO
You are born to one religion? what in the world does that mean? Maybe thats how you were, but i wasn't born to any religion. I went to a church all on my own, when i was a kid, it's not the same kind of church i went to in H/S, nor am i attending the same denomination i went to in H/S now. There's a ton of religions out there, I don't follow the religion, I follow God and go where God leads me to go. Just cuz 1 church may not believe in the same thing as another, the main focus that All christianity churches do believe in is JESUS, and he's our focus. Other churches may worship, praise, sing and preach different, but the focus is still Christ, we just may do things alittle diff and thats ok. 🙂
