Jury> If you read Arachnoidfreak's posts you will see that he had the utmost faith in god and religion when he asked god to help his family. It was the lack of help and things getting worse that brought him to the conclusion that god does not exist.

uhuh... "utmost" faith? 🙄 then, sorry for him... he just LOST his faith.

As faithful to God... we know whose prayers does God answers and not... God answers our prayers in His own way not in any way we want it to. 🙂

You obviously didn't read my post.

Of course I did. You simply didn't get what I post. 🙄

Hmm, so when someone's prayers are answered, they must have been faithfull and just in the eyes of god. But when someones prayers go unanswered they are of weak faith or god is working in mysterious ways. Is that what you mean?

As I said:

As faithful to God... we know whose prayers does God answers and not... God answers our prayers in His own way not in any way we want it to be.

No I understood what you posted. You said that I, at 3rd grade, made a presumption that god did NOT exist, and then prayed to prove that he DOES exist. That is false, when I clearly stated "I DID make a relationship with God. I prayed, attended church, and BELIEVED from 3rd to 7th grade,"

Where in my quote does it say that i thought that he didn't exist BEFORE i prayed? In 2nd grade the last thing i was concerned about was religion. as soon as i could tell the difference in religions (i was 8 years old) i chose to believe that god exists. Now, 9 years later at 17, I have completely changed my mind, from god's lack of a response. I don't care what his response was, it could have been "**** off you little maggot" but at least then i'd have known he exists, even though that would mean he is a dick.

Let me ask you one thing, Arach... When you were once "faithful" to God, have you come to the full knowledge of His "will"?

...*checks time*-- closedeyes

leading to if you havent the knowledge of His will he wont answer yur prayer? if so then small kids actually waste their time praying

Leading, finti 😛 🤣

I'm not saying that. 🙄 I'm just asking Arach... 😛

His will was to let 6 members of my family contract fatal illnesses? Oh yea, what a great god. Boy, do I wanna worship him now. Wow. What I find ****ed up is that my grandmother is the last one of us who still has strong faith, and she's dying the fastest.

Our ways are not Gods ways, Our time is not Gods time, God does answer prayers & he hears us. I know that God does heal, No, i can't explain why everyone doesn't gets healed. There are a numerous reason to why a person can't be healed. Not saying any of these apply to your life, cuz i have no idea. Sin, unforgivness in your life, i thk thats one of the biggest reason besides lack of faith. Alot of times we have unforgivness in us and we don't even realize it, cuz we just stay away from that person. I know that all things work for the Good of God and that you have to serve him and worship him thru the good and the bad times in your life. You can't pick & chose when to serve him, thats not a true worship. God does know everyone's motive, rather we speak it out loud or it's in our hearts, HE knows.

4 years wasn't picking and choosing. Why don't you just sit back and watch 6 of your closest family members fade away into disease, and then get back to me.

wtf is unforgivness? Not forgiving someone? That's between them and whatever diety they believe in. There are only about 3 people on this planet that I would forgive for doing something harmful to me.

Really, is asking for a straight answer too much for an omnipotent being? All I want is evidence. I want to see him face to face and talk. Is that too much to ask of an ALL-POWERFUL being? Really, is it?

He doesn't have to heal my family, death is a part of life, and though I wish I wouldn't lose the majority of my family so soon, they had to go sometime.

well, according to the bible you do have to forgive others, and i wasn't saying that applied to your situation cuz i have no idea. the bible is a guidline to how to live your life, if you're not doing it correctly then it doesn't work effectivly. If you do develope a relationship w/God, he will talk to you & you talk to him thats what prayer is, talking w/God. It can't be a relationship when a person does is pray when something goes bad in their life, they have to do that everyday and have that relationship. If a person NEVER spoke to their spouce except when something bad was going on their lives, they wouldn't have a very good relationship, same w/God.

Our ways are not Gods ways, Our time is not Gods time,
for me its the other way around

well, according to the bible you do have to forgive others
actually somethings are impossible to forgive

Not if God leads you and you allow him to let you forgive, alot of times we don't want to forgive, but through him you can. and YES some things are very very difficult to forgive, thats why it's only impossible to forgive like that thru him.

you see I dont believe in God and I believe that something is not ment to be forgiven. We have to face those we dont wanna forgive the sooner the better.
If forgiveness makes you feel better fine, me a retaliation do the trick for me
