it's not just for publicity, she went to rehab for a day, heard all the horror stories about how they test for drugs, including the hair testing, so she bolted and got buzzed.......
then she went and got her hair-cut, after she got buzzed, (see what I done there?? 😄) to avoid the inevitable drug testing that will come during her custody battle with the Father of the Year K-Fed-Excerderline!!
she's about 2 steps (being generous here) from a full-blown mental and/or physical breakdown, already probably smack in the middle of the spiritual and emotional breakdown, and still spiralling downward

Britney certainly needs help. She most likely will not get it. She is going to lose those kids to K Fed. Serve her dumb ass right. Maybe getting her kids taken away will push her into getting help. She neeeds it. Showing her you know what. Partying and cokeing it up. Unless she she is also on crack or speed. Maybe she is on everything.

So true, Sidious. Highway to hell. Its a shame. She has a lil sister. I feel sorry for those who idolize her. Bad role model. Get some help, Britney. U still can save your life
This is the saddest thing about it. I haven't forgotten the days when she was a fabulous role model. Sweet, shy, well mannered, with a healthy figure and lifestyle. I just don't get how someone can crash and burn like this. If I were her, I'd move to the UK, or another country where the press aren't as intrusive as they tend to be in the US.
When was Britney a fabulous role model?
When she encouraged young girls to be more sexual?
When she further sexualized her persona in order to seem more mature, thereby once again influencing her young fans to do the same?
When she continually did or said stupid things?
When she showed the world that she was far from prepared for being a mother?
Or now, when really, no new news is being made?
The thing is, she's always been a moron, it's just that people who liked her before are maturing and figuring it out.
As for the UK press, they're far more savage and intrusive than the american press. INstead of moving, she should just smarten the f*ck up.

I think shaved in the front and long in the back isn't that bad. Shaved all the way is a bit much, I will say, but I wouldn't mind seeing Emo Britney for a little while.
Gilly, I'd like to see you try that for a change. Pink highlights was pretty daring, I must admit, but I'd really like to see you do the shaved scalp/long blond back for a while. I promise I won't smirk a single millimeter when you post your new pics. Let me know when you're going to head to the barber. If you'd like I'll pay for it, too.
