Well, yesterday I played a ton more, and got into the "second half" of the game. I couldn't believe the way the action ramped up and became non-stop for the next 45 minutes or so.

The cutscene with Cloud and Squall fighting together rocked, and the plot twist after the 1000 Heartless battle was great.

If you do have the soundtrack was it in english?
I believe they only make one soundtrack, because on my Kingdom Hearts 1 Soundtrack it has english singing but it still has like japanese writing at the bottom of the cover, although it's in english.
So I'm sure that there's only one Soundtrack, and if it doesn't have Sanctuary on it, then I'm screwed b/c I don't know anywhere else I'd be able to get it.

I played quite a bit also this weekend. Yeah that scene was nice.

I didn't really think they'd make us fight all 1000 of those enemies
Reviews online have been saying this game has good production value but the gameplay isn't as good as the first one and that the gameplay is a let down. They say the fighting is too easy and how it's just button mashing and the new fighting mechanics are good but aren't necessary.
I disagree and I like it. You don't want a game so hard that you can't progress at a steady rate.
I read in one review that right before the
Spoiler:I didn't really see that moment. I was thinking maybe it was when
1000 enemies fight, there's a "No Disney did not let them do that" moment.

Goofy got knocked on the head and I thought that he was going to die, but since he survived I don't know.

Lilo battling the enemies in that cutscene also. But I just don't know.

This game really should have a "Video Viewer" section where you can go back and look at the cutscenes that you've obtained.

I would have killed for a movie clip section last night. My sibs wanted to see the
Spoiler:after I had done it myself, so I loaded the last save before it. Unfortunately, that meant I had to fight

Spoiler:again, and since I had adjusted my equipment and abilities after the save the first time, and forgot to do that the second time, he totally pwned my arse, despite my fairly easy victory the first time.
