lol the fact that anyone could possibly compare Tupac to 50 Cent says alot about that person. Tupac was the most inspirational and intelligent rapper/song writer to ever exist. Whoever said shit about Ice Cube apparently knows NOTHING about rap. Tupacs message was so strong. Someone in here compared Tupac to Biggie, and that is so pointless. The two of them are in total seprate categories. Biggie's gonna win hands down when it comes to flow. Biggie was a swinger. When people say Tupac was the greatest rapper, they mean what he had to say was more relavent..more potent..more meaningfull. Tupac sang about things that mattered in todays world. He was one of the most intelligent young men I've ever seen. Yeah, Tupac became more popular when he died, but obviously. Death is a huge thing, who wouldnt be blown up by the media in the music industry after a death. Tupac only became more popular after by introducing him to people who hadnt heard of him. Obviously death is gonna cause publicity, therefore introducing him to more people. Tupac was more intelligent at the age if 18, then the majority of 40 year old males out there. He understood what was going on and he wanted a change. There are real issues going on in the world, and what made him different was that he wasnt afraid to address them. As one of outlaws said, "Tupac's life was about becoming educated, but his childhood was on the streets, and the streets are about crazyness, he was an educated nut". Tupac rapped and wrote music because thats what he loved to do. He'd write almost 5 songs a day. That was like his oxygen...writing lyrics. Tupac was true, and noone will EVER compare to him. I can easily say Tupac was the worlds greatest rapper, and 50 cent isnt even a millionth of what Tupac was, so whoever started this thread simply knows nothing about Pac and what he was about. To the realest man who ever existed, noone's ever gonna top that. "Its time for us as people to start makin some changes, lets change the way we eat, lets the change the way we live, and lets change the way we treat eachother, u see the old way was workin, so its on us to do what we gotta do..to survive.." and to the guy saying why worship Tupac so much...in the words of Biggie...."IF YA DONT KNOW, NOW YA KNOW N*GGA"
