the answer depends on which tupac is in question. is it the tupac that put out songs with a message like "brenda's got a baby" or "keep your head up," or is it the image conscious, silly ass, corny, death row, "thug life" 2 Pac? if you are comparing 50 cent to the latter, than the answer is yes. that is all the that 50 is, an image. as well as 95% of all the other corny rappers in the industry (don't forget, it is a business). is tupac prolific, i believe so. is he the greatest, i don't think so. but that is only my opinion.

there are other excellent emcees out there, it just requires doing your homework and a little bit of digging beneath the surface.

it's okay to not follow the masses, and to think for yourself.

2pac is my influence to pick up the real Machiavelli books. 2pac's words were shape and real. he was both powerful and cunning on movies and music. i bet if he played Denzel Washingtons role on TRAINING DAY, and the oscars came to 'pac. then for sure tupac would have set the bar too high for these rappers/actors to achieve. it's a shame to think he's really dead. i always believed those "thories' about a great lie. too bad for the loyal fans. its been 7 years, 7 years and the thug still has a legion of fans. we'll never see another one like him or hear, for that matter. for sure i'm picking up all future albums in the better dayz to come.
