RE4 is not overrated, it gives people all the right to brag with it's changing difficulty as you progress through the game. Halo 2 is overrated because after all the waiting, online was the only thing worthwhile to wait for. I have lost the taste for multiplayer shooters in the long run after Goldeneye & Perfect dark I'd say, but that's just me.
i dont think its overrated at all... ive seen many games fail to live up to the hype that surrounded them, but i found some of the parts of this game to be truly inspired... the knife fight... the fight in the lake... running up a trolls back, running up onto the final sadlers face and sticking a knife in his face... defending the cabin from the villagers...
it took elements from shen mue and improved on them...
a truly cinematic game if ever there was one...

yea, when i was playing my relatives who were over thought it was a movie lol
the boss fights were the best part. the challenge of them was great.
also, i think the cutscenes where u had to pay attention jus in case u had to do something was really well done.
btw,
Halo 2 is really over rated imo.

i agree with everything but the halo part cos i havent played it 😄
Maybe Resident Evil 4 will be overrated by the time the Ps2 version is out, between fanboys/girls comparing the 2 versions, new possible Ps2-exclusive stuff, etc. Right now it isn't overrated, but who knows what will happen by the end of the year, I for one am just sick of hearing about halo, but that's again just me.

the ps2 wont look as good as the cube's.
