it is in human nature to create war... in all of earth's existence, the world was only at peace for 8% of the time... guess what we're doing 92% of the time..? where there is man, there is war... i am not trying to desuade your decision to stay in the matrix, i'm just stating the fact that war-- within the matrix or zion-- is inevitable...
perhaps but it could not happen for ages in the matrix
outside it is happening now/soon.

No. Neo wasn't the One yet, he hadn't assimilated the anomaly.Me? Out! What other option is there? Anyone who'd take the blue pill are basically saying they'll believe anything that isn't real.
HAS NO ONE GIVEN THE THOUGHT THAT NEO COULDNT TAKE THE F****** BLUE PILL BECAUSE THE AGENT"S WOULD STILL BE AFTER HIM!? AND NOT ONLY IF HE DID TAKE IT! HE WOULD"VE NOT REMEBERED THE DANGER OF THE AGENTS....
well, i think he won't remember anything... not morpheus, not trinity, not the white rabbit... so for the agents chasing him, that would just be without purpose...
and i think that he could've taken that blue pill as much as he could've taken the red pill...
"the problem is choice"... he CHOSE not to take the blue pill...
Mook> Since the Matrix is based on the history of the 20th century war IS happening in that world. You don’t have “AGES”, you have 100 years, and the 20th century is one of the most war-ridden centuries EVER.
Inside the Matrix you’re guaranteed to live your life out in a pod, being fed the dead intravenously (yack!), and not accomplish anything that’ll ever matter, or ever change the world. The word wage-slave achieves a whole new meaning…
Kalantiaw> Human nature to wage war?? I don’t think so. It’s rather so, that the world’s leaders seem to be willing to go to war over anything – especially after they created bunkers to hide in. Ask anyone you know if they prefer war to peace…
Daedalus> But to do “cool” things you’d have to leave the Matrix and enter the real world. No doing “cool” things if you stay in the Matrix. This thread deals with what pill you’d choose now – after Revlutions.
The Omega> of course they will pick peace... who wants to die in battle..? i, for one don't... but wether we like it or not, there are some people out there with ideals that they blindly believe in, they are willing to wage war just see a glimpse of it... it is not up to you or me to start or stop war as we see fit... it is our leaders... and what do men with power want... that's right, MORE power...

So what happens if a life overlapps the century? Would they get their minds erased? IE If someone is born in 1986 (my year 🙂 ) they would be 14 when the next centruy comes...
Kalantiaw> But you just claimed it was human nature to wage war. Now you agree that people will pick peace. So which is it? War or peace? Or are you telling me it’s human nature to wage war, and we’re just lying when we choose peace? Or…. ?
“Some people out there”?? Who? Fanatics? Well, can we agree that fanatics are not right in the head? If we can, then the easy conclusion is that war is madness 🙂
If it’s fanatics and leaders who go to war to either force their beliefs down our throats or coerce others to do as they want, to gain power, then it’s not human nature… because that would have to apply to ALL of us…
But yes. The Oracle was right. What do men with power want? More power… As you point out… most of us humans here on planet Earth don’t have power to start or end wars.
Xeous> Probably, yes.
Mook> “but it might still be better than outside”.
How? I’m just trying to comprehend how anyone would choose a lie over the truth – no matter how harsh the truth is.
As my signature says:

But aside from Mook (and yourself ½ the time) who do you know, that'll stay inside the Matrix?
I still can’t grasp how you can call the world in the 20th century perfect. Two world wars, countless other wars (Vietnam, Korea, Gulf wars, civil wars etc. etc). AIDS, famine, hunger-plagues, apartheid, racism, anti-Semitism, segregation, fanaticism…
Perfect? Hardly…
