The Ring 2

It looks eerie enough, hopefully it'll be getting good reviews tomorrow.

Don't count on it. It's easily the worst movie I've seen thus far, right behind Elektra. A few cool camera gimmicks, nothing more. It's more drama than anything, and DEFINATELY not even a Horror, much less Suspense.

I wish I were the one falling off the cliff into the ocean after that mess.

What was Sissy Specek like?

You know what remake I think will do incredibly well, Dark Water. It looks wonderful.

Sissy Spacek had all of 3 minutes of screen time, in which she was average.

3 minutes? urgh. I've been looking forwards to seeing her in it.

This movie was ass.

The only cool part was the reindeer scene.

what part was Sissy Spacek... I was wondering why she was in there... she looked like "Carrie" in the trailer... and ...ummm... I was really looking forward to seeing the sequel... dont say it is bad 🙁

Samara's mom, in the nuthouse, when Rachel went to visit her. They spent about 3 minutes together, and that was it. Obviously, continuity wasn't a concern for the filmmakers, since Sissy Spacek looked NOTHING LIKE THE MOTHER SEEN IN THE MIRROR!

The movie was absolute garbage. The deer scene was intense, although it didn't make any sense.

Supposidly, the deer recognized Aiden was possessed by Samara. Samara wasn't the one that hunted deer, it was her father, since later in the film you see all the troves of antlers. What significance that had is beyond me.

Oh.. why didnt they have the actual mother who was Samara's mom in the first The Ring - hate it when they change characters

and is Rory Culkin in it or is a different kid-- maybe he just looks a little more grown up ..???

Rory Culkin wasn't in either movie. It's the same actor, David Dorfman, just 3 years older. As for not having the same mother, who's to say?

one of the culkin kids was in the ring! ok it looked like a culkin kid

So any explainations in this one? I saw the American Version. What if any was the sequel scene?

just was this movie tonight... did not think it was "garbage" at all ... it was a little predictable but it was a fun and intense movie to go see! NOT GARBAGE! hate it how someone described like that...bugs me.

A little preditible? I was literally insulted by how pretentious this movie came off. It was saturated with sappy ass drama, devoid of anything remotely spooky, and had a few neat-o camera tricks.

you watch to many movies cinemaddiction... your expectations are way high! How can you have any fun watching movies anymore if you have seen the majority of them... sakhfd

and it is PREDICTABLE!

Don't get bent out of shape, falling back on a misspelling to try and get me upset. The movie was shit, and I pray that you never check out what RottenTomatoes.com had to say about it.

MY expectations were for the movie to be as good as the original, which it failed miserably to fall up on. I enjoy plenty of movies, just not this one, and for good reason. Sorry I'm not as easily amused as some of you.
