The Ring 2

I don't plan on seeing it at the theaters after reading this thread.

This will probably be another film I will rent.

That's the whole movie! When she says "Why don't you call me Mom? Mommy? Something other than Rachael?", that pretty much solidifies it.

Don't get bent out of shape, falling back on a misspelling to try and get me upset. The movie was shit, and I pray that you never check out what RottenTomatoes.com had to say about it.

MY expectations were for the movie to be as good as the original, which it failed miserably to fall up on. I enjoy plenty of movies, just not this one, and for good reason. Sorry I'm not as easily amused as some of you.

Im not saying it was better than the first! or spectacular but I didnt think it was as bad as you made it out to be...

btw ... I read RottenTomatoes already...

I usually agree with people on here with movies but this movie wasnt as bad as everyone is making it out to be.....asjhfdks

It seemed like they made a sequel just to make a sequel. The plot was weak and it seemed like the makers of the film just wanted to make a quick buck.

yea... there was no need for a sequel... Im sure they did make some money..asjd

It sucked. Very disappointing. The mother was completely child negligent. "All right honey, after what I'm sure was a completely tramatizing experience for you, I'm gonna leave you stark naked in a tub in the house of a man I just met, so I can get you a shirt and a sock. See ya!"

I don't "trash" movies, personally. "Ring Two", IMO as always, was incredibly poor and unnecessary. The majority of the movie going public looks to feel the same way.

I saw it today, it was...meh 😬

the movie was just okay, was expecting more. and also some1 said that sissy spacek does not look like the mother in THE RING. isnt it true that the mother in THE RING is the 1 who adopted samara, and the character sissy spacek played was the blood mother of samara

Samara was adopted-- Sissy Spacek played Samara's biological mother

That whole adoption gimmick was pointless. Apparently, both her mothers were ****ing psycho.

Saw it, and I will have to say I did not find it that scary.

In fact it was kind of lame.

I like the story they were trying to get across, but I just don't think they did a good job with it.

^ I think c'dic is usually right were movies are concerned. Its a shame in this case because I haven't gotten round to seeing this yet, and I thought it looked promising.

i really liked the 1st one..not the 2nd though

lemme see if i got this right....the deer ****ed up their car becuz samara's dad killed a lot of deer and the deer sensed samara in the boy? ....anyone else think thats kind of lame?

but i did think the part where samara killed the psychiatrist was kinda cool
