I count Dance with the Devil and The Prophecy as his best songs. I really haven't been able to decide which is better.
It's pretty amazing that that amazing beat from The Prophecy is in the same CD as the most craptastic, shitty, annoying, piece of trash beat in the history of hip hop: Top of the Food Chain. 😘

i think that was Scott Scorch but im not 100% sure. does it really matter? 50 cent sucks regardless.

im only playing devils advocate, because i used to have this same attidude and agree that the best music is rarely played on mainstream radio or mtv. im a dj and there's nothing better than digging and playing great songs outside the mainstream radar.
but that being said, i will be in the minority and stick up for 50. he may not have the lyrical prowess of a Gift of Gab, IT, or MF Doom, but he knows the game and is at the top cause he plays the game the best. whatever your taste in music-- country, classical, IDM, whatever-- you gotta at least respect 50 for going from rags to Mike Tyson-riches. hopefully the Get rich or die tryin movie will show a little bit of that.

i do respect him for playin the game or whatever because ive read in interviews how everyone that works with him says he knows how to use the record industry to his advantage. but honestly, i hope that movie bombs and everyone turns on him so i dont have to listen to any of my friends play his godforsaken albums any more, he annoys the shit outta me.

He's not playing the game though. The corporate music companies are the ones who play the game. They're the ones who though Fiddy would sell well to the public. Fiddy is nothing but a puppet with strings attached.
And I have no problem with getting rich. The guys of System of a Down are millionars but they never sold out. Unlike Fiddy they never watered down their music to get more money or fans. They got popular because they make great music which should be true for any music artist who gets popular.
Getting rich is fine, being a corporate ***** is not.

i 100% disagree. their new album is incredible. although i prefer Toxicity, Mezmerize is just as good. Give it another listen. Listen to the lyrics carefully. And im kinda biased cuz their also Armenian 👆
