i do respect him for playin the game or whatever because ive read in interviews how everyone that works with him says he knows how to use the record industry to his advantage. but honestly, i hope that movie bombs and everyone turns on him so i dont have to listen to any of my friends play his godforsaken albums any more, he annoys the shit outta me.
i see his movie doing really well at the box office. the movie has too much talent (terrence howard appears, jim sheridan directs), his persona too much firepower, and he appeals to too many different demographics. I mean, think of all the people you know who own an album of his. all ages, all races, all backgrounds. it's gonna blow up like 8 mile.

man system of a downs new song sounds like a pop record, but thats jsut me. i never liked them from the beginning, only song i did like was spiders, and that was a tool rip off so it cancels out.
i was only judging them by the one song i heard. i dont listen to that type of music anymore, all the new pop rock bands coming out turned me off of rock completely. the last band i got into was modest mouse, but i havent heard the new album yet, hope it stands up to their older stuff.
I think he is way too overated . . . he is just like all the other millions of wannabe "gangsters" and just like all the other rappers in the industry. No one on Earth started out like a 'gangsters' . . . people evolved into 'gangsters' because you either are gay if your not one or you will not be excepted by today's culture. But, for some reason his promoting violence seems to sell more than others do . . .
