Right, well i had a debaite at university about this...about the legalization of all drugs. Should they be all ligalized or not?! Well, my personal openion is that yeah they should, and this why,

75% of all crimes (in UK) happen are drug related drugs..i.e. people steeling to get money to buy drugs, or a drug deal gone bad. More people die every year from alcohol and tobaco then they do from illegal A and B class drugs

I think that legalization of drugs would wipe the underground drug business compitely and drug related crimes would go down! Why would you go to the dodgy drug dealer on the corner to buy drugs when you can get them from your local Chemist? They can penalise it, likethey do cigarets here in the UK (£5 for a pack of sigs in Brighton)

There ARE gonna be some consiquences due to this in a short term, but in a long term, i think it could work.

The so-called war on drugs has been going...what about 90 years no..a bit over..and nothing has really been improved...

so..what do ppl think...yes or no?! 😕 discuss...

those are good points and why I think they should be legalized.Hey alcohol is more harmful or at least just as harmful as drugs and its legalized hey drugs should be as well just as long as like cigerettes and alchohol that you are 21 or older, then yeah it needs to be legalized.

I think alcohol is only more harmful than drugs because more people drink than do drugs because it is legal.

Just like alcohol, you ARE capable of driving perfectly fine when you are under the influence as long as it is below the legal limit. .08 is not THAT much to drink....and you can perform just like normal in a car.

If they had a means of measuring the amount of drugs taken into the system, just like a breathalizer...then i think some drugs should be legalized. But the heavy hitters like Heroine, crack, and E are all a little too much for driving purposes.

What's the point of doing drugs, and drinking alcohol? they do nothing than hurt you body, and who carse if you don't see it in the short run? It's the ling run that counts. Taking drugs is stupid, yes stupid. Period.

yeah thats a good point.

they are also a fabulous release from reality. I know you haven't tried them nor do you want to try them, but they are an excellent way to go out and have a good time...particularly alcohol. Drugs tend to be fun 5% of the time and hindersome 95% of the time.

I dont' know where i'd be on saturday and sunday without my usual fix of rum. Probably either going to church...or picking fights with drunks. i'll stick to alchy thank you.

I dont have anything against anyone who thinks that "experimenting" with drugs isnt bad... fine is their lives and I dont like to judge people for past mistakes.

drugs bring me alot of bad memories. drugs ruled my life and it almost ended mine too...
my girlfriend Katherine is dead because of that too

I wont say drugs are good or bad you be the one who decide . But when your past is past and your present sucks and your future holds nothing but broken promises and dead dreams, you feel like the drugs'll kill the pain. But they wont

yah, i agree with Blind on this for the most part.

I know in my previous posts, i seem like a big advocate of drugs...but I'm not really.

I think drugs should be experimented with while you're young and foolish because getting involved with them as an adult will ruin your life and the peoples lifes that are around you. DEFINITLY quit after college...that's when it's time to become a man. (or woman)

illigal drugs are illigal because they are bad for you. thered be so many sick high people walking around itd just kinda disturbing...i dont want to walk around my city in the midst of high people.

And you would sell you well being for a temporary high?

As a wise man once said... "ummm...drugs are bad....mmkay?"

Eveything except Marajuana should be kept illegalized.

😂

why should marijuana be legalized? Why should drugs be legalized?

I was being sarcastic.....I think...

well you may be being sarcastic but the others are not

This is a tough issue... On the one hand, there would theoretically be a lot fewer drug related crimes if they were legal. However, you could argue that a lot of people who do drugs don't have a regular source of income anyways, so they will still be stealing money to get them.

As for the argument that there would constantly be stoned people walking around on the streets if it was legal, I think that's ridiculous. People do drugs whether they're legal or not, and those who choose not to, generally speaking, don't because they don't like drugs--not because it's illegal. The majority of adult Americans today have tried pot at some point in their lives... Those who use it regularly are in the minority. Not everybody is going to want to do it if it does become legal.

and then you wouldnt be able to skip class for some person to tell you not to take drugs 🙂

I don't get to skip class for some person to come tell me not to take drugs... They do that in health class at my sk00L...

but it's still not the point, they take them out of ignorance, affecting everything around them, why should any of them be legal? other than for medical things
