Ok, time for the SWAT guys to fire again. Again, it is all in on the guys who hijacked the vehicle! Four bursts on each, but one of those bursts is at a penalty to hit as their driverless vehicle goes out of control.

Oh no. Coeus is hit dead on with a +7 against him. That is 10 damage. That takes him to 43 and a crucial death check.

Coeus rolls +2... a pass! Coeus, you are shot in the back as Heph drives away. The bullet richochets off a rib and comes out with a fair sidzed hole in your front. It missed all your vitals but you aren't going to last long with a hole through you. By some feat of determination and adrenaline you stay afoot...

Sorry, Celsius. Another hit for 8. Even with the +3 on the death check you just rolled, at 48 damage you are overcome. The bullet hits you in your arm but your body is already too shot up. You collapse down, dying.

Heph- you are hit for 9 damage. A second shot would have hit you but that was from the out of control jeep, and it misses. Damn it! A bullet clips your shoulder as you drive... must press on!

3 more vehicles JUST out of range of you guys, but will be in range if you stop moving.

IMPORTANT ACTIONS STILL TO BE RESOLVED: Mors' defence against the Agent and two of his own attacks!

Mors, you not only have those actions to make up but your actions for THIS turn as well!

As for those being chased... this is going to be CLOSE! This turn, Fire and Ares pull up. Cloud, Castor and Rade can all climb aboard Ares' vehicle.

(Note for future reference- leave spare firearms in your vehicles! If you had done so, Ares would have an arsenal to chose from and Rade could have picked up a gun)

Celsius needs to get out the Matrix ASAP or die. Coeus is NOT well, Heph is under extreme pressure. There are three vehicles still within range and chasing. One within range and not chasing; three chasing but not in range.

So, point one, DO NOT STOP FOR ANY REASON! Obviously. That will kill you.

Point two- if you can get it so that there are no vehicles in range, you will drive out the airport and- I can guarantee you- to safety. Even if you are still being chased- just make sure there are none left in range.

Good luck. Good news is, only two bursts from those in range this turn.

Meanwhile.. well, Mors is fighting that Agent. Blonde girl jumps over the perimiter fence.

San- you are at Virus' vehicle. Burn, you can have that download and act if you wish.

To get to Coeus- a round. Not worth it.

To get to Mors- one action. How vulnerable would you be?

I expected you to yell at everyone to get aboard, Fire...

HEPH!!! GET...GOING...we're not gonna be able to...last much longer...Celsius...DAMN IT!!! ...gotta get out...a diversion...or something, thats what we need...*Coeus turns back around and aims at the driver of the nearest car, then pumps 3 bursts into him, after which he pumps three bursts at the gas tank of the nearest jeep after the other, and then crouches down to give him *some* armor from the back of the jeep and to check on Celsius, who is breathing very shallow now...* and my defense is (dodge)

Well, your second shot messed up totally; firstly as it was not a good roll, but secondly because you ran out of bullets halfway through the attack, which always messes things up...

But the FIRST shot you roll a +5 on. Consider a second driver outed, and -2 to hit for them this action! Good good good...

Mors drops low and rolls to the side again, dodging the Agent's blow.

"I've fought your kind before. I've escaped before. I'll escape again."

Mors gets up and performs a Breath of the Dragon-modified punch, aiming for the right side of the Agent's face, as if Mors could pound the smug grin off his face. He knew he couldn't, but he could sure try.

He follows up with a Jump of the Grasshopper.

Ares looks back to Mors fighting the Agent for a moment. "Good luck to ya..."

He turns and fires two bursts at another Jeep driver.

reload...and how many jeeps does that leave within firing range?

EDIT: actually, how am i reloading? i didn't bring any guns or clips...am i just picking them off the dead SWAT people?

Ok then!

Agent performs: Agent Dodge

He falls back against your fist blow, arms raised high.

You roll +2- with another +2 modifier from the Breath, that is a hit!

Your accurate shot finds its target.

GEEZ! It's like punching a damn wall! It just glances off of him. No damage. He smiles...

... but at least that dodge cost him an attack, as it exerts him! So no need for a dodge from last turn.

You then jump up and perform your big jumping kick...

Agent Performs: Intercept Punch

And then you are rather caught off guard as the Agent acutally PUNCHES your foot as you attack, Mors! Your attack is completely buggered up by this, and as you drop to the ground the Agent backhands you with a blow- and even this light blow slams your head to one side, for 7 damage.

Agent gains an exertion.

Almost as if unsatisfied, the still smiling Agent follows this up with an uppercut (Punch)...

I'll need a defence, then another action.

(Two new powers! Also, I can understand the thing about it being like punching a wall. Agents are 400 pounds, afterall. And it's not from fat!)

Mors arches backwards, letting the Agent's blow go over his head.

Then Mors feints a punch for the Agent's face again, and, predicting that he'll probably use the Agent Dodge again, uses a Snap of the Dragon modified kick on the Agent's family jewels.

Coeus, yes, you are picking them from the dead/Out guys. But your reload will have to be next action, of course.

Ares... you would have to have damn good eyesight to see Mors... you aren;t near him. Still, let's see about your shot...

-6! Ugh, how awful! However, I'll make that a shot on the other Hit (4) guy, and with Coppertop Killer you still Out him! A third jeep swerves to a halt... nearly there now!

so theres only one more jeep to worry about for now...with a driver that is HIT...unless we stop, in which case there will be three MORE jeeps to worry about...i hope those that ran rather than fighting are out of the way, cause we are probably really close to them by now, which means Fire, you need to get out of there just like we do...Is someone able to help Mors?!?!

(I think San and Burn might be able to. Run the Agent over with a car, ya know? 😄 )
