USH'S MATRIX GAME: FIRST ASSIGNMENT- 'Codecracker'

Started by Ushgarak33 pages

Ok, I shall assume that first one was a dodge, Mors- the exertion for which you immediately pay for with the Snap just after.

Agent rolls: +2. A hit! That's for seven damage as his glancing blow staggers you back. And actually that riposte before was for 8 damage- my bad. He seemed to have snuck an extra blow in there, Mors... what a bastard! You are not sure WHAT happened when you tried that Jump of the Grasshopper.

He just defends against Snap. You roll -3- a miss. He blocks the attack with his arm, effortlessly.

BTW, anything noticed anything about that Agent? Especially those following the numbers?

Other than he smiles alot and he's beating me up...I'm not good at figuring out anything...

Would I break my hand if I tried to intercept punch? 😄

Yes, the ones that ran can be taken out by Fire and Ares.

Burn seemed to have a KIND of plan to help Mors, but now the Agent is low on exertion (me having done so so he lost an attack against Mors...) it is harder. His plan involves Mors fleeing NOW whilst he can take the punishment.

Indeed. Fleeing now would likely send me into a car as Burn was.

You aren't even sure how to do that. You never saw a human do anything close.

Except... Rade likes to use Unyielding Grasshopper Stance in training, that's the only 'hit against a hit' thing you have ever seen before.

You can always query those powers used against you, BB...

Oh, you have done so, Mors, my bad.

Actually... if you had fled just now you might have gotten away with it, Mors. There is a logic behind that...

Oh, but I did!

*points to Agent thread*

Mors steps back, glaring at the Agent through his mirrored shades. He tried not to show that those blows had bruised him.

"You all look the same to me. 400 pounds, dark suit, square shades, Desert Eagle. Standard between all of you."

"Odd," he says. "You humans all look the same to me as well. Especially once I stop you moving."

I'll tell you the logic of why that would have been a good time to flee if you want...

jeez,
your ok,
take the freaking hit and we can all go home!
for christs sake!

Can I still flee? Because I will! 😄

"That is because you cannot see as I do, Agent...? Do you even have names? Or are you Agent #1, #2, and #3 this time around?" Mors still glares back into the square shades. He thought to himself that the square shades reminded him of something mechanical, as did the rigid figure of the Agent.

Nah, your action this turn was that Snap of the Dragon.

Reason was that- as I am sure you all hoped- Straight Punch is NOT free. It was the end of the round and, like you guys often are, the Agent was low on pool- so if you had fled he would have only gotten a basic attack in. But now a new round will begin and he will refresh.

Still, nevermind, still a chance...

"I'm A Daniels..." says the Agent. "And I can see in ways you cannot comprehend. l'll enjoy seeing you die..."

seeing that mors was gonna flee i start up the car, open the passengear side door and wait for mors to make his move?

(if i go through the part of the fence that fire ramed down will myy tires still blow)

Yes. But why head that way? That's towards the airfield. You guys will just want to head to the carpark exit.

Burn takes this action getting into position for you, Mors...

(Run the DAMNED Agent Daniels over with that car! I won't last long against him, at this rate.)

"Of course I cannot comprehend them, Agent Daniels, I enjoy seeing in color 100 percent of the time," Mors snapped.

"I hope you enjoy black..." he says, as he prepares his next blow...

... which will be next action, of course...

Actually, who still has to act? I shall check.

ok remeber what happend in the freeway scene in Reloaded,
how he jumped on the hood of the car and crushed it to smithereens?
thats why

(😠 Nice vet I MAKE! gimme time to reply, I am asllep when ure all posting 🙁)

*I presume I'mm just laying there like a fish out of water, not able t doo anything.*

(HJow did a blullet hit me in the abdomen, when I am shootinng out off the back window, and ol;y my hhead and hands are sticking out? 😑 )

I'll keep his attention.

"Actually, I don't think I will..."

Yup, looks like the important people have acted! Neat.

Ok, the SWAT guys fire... this is now nasty. Six attacks EACH on Coeus and Heph. However, only two bursts from each, and many are rendered inaccurate.

They all miss Coeus. Amusingly, they all would have missed even if they had been 100% accurate. Typical!

However, Heph takes another 14 points of damage. Sorry, buddy! You have been shot! Double wounded but still going...

The blonde woman disappears past the fence and you guys lose track of her.

End of round! Focus refreshes.

Ok, Fire, Ares, your people are on board!

My mistake from before, as Burn had already acted, so THIS turn he brings the car into position for Mors.

THose being chased- nearly home free now!

Agent Peforms- Pose (?)

As the Agent draws back to make a blow, Mors, he pauses for a moment to check his cufflinks.

Agent gains an exertion.

Then, he steps forwards and (Kicks) at you again!
