USH'S MATRIX GAME: SECOND ASSIGNMENT: 'Ghost Hunt'

Started by Fire87 pages

okie so i use my defence as above turtle shell for two opponents or less and willow step if I get more than 2 reflex's attacks

My defence will depend on those my remaining focus after all my moves
so I'll check that tomorrow

note ush if I get attacked by more than one person I use willow step, if just one I do a normal dodge, unless I can still afford a turtle shell

(Hey Ush, most often in kitchend there are alot of things hanging from the ceiling, like lite fixtures and knife/utensil holders? would it be possible for me to aim a shot at them and have it drop on an enemies head...? Sounds kinda cartoony, but its a good idea I think?)

dammit...well.....i do that anyway...i have to.

hey, if a wallrun is more suitable, i do that..but i don't think it is

ok, im in the kitchen, let the carnage begin
3 very fasts
3 burst per guy,
that should be enough to get 3 bursts on everyone in the whole room

Castor, you could certainly do that to disrupt their fire, if you wish. Coeus and Fire may greatly appreciate that!

The Wall Run will do just as well as the leap, Rade. I'll do that for you next action.

Small problem with your attack there, Burn...

Your first attack is two attacks of three bursts each on two targets. Your Eagle Eye is, of course, extremely handy! You roll +2 and evens, for 17 and 15. A Hit for 5 and one for 3!

Your second attack is three bursts each on another two targets. Your first attack rolls +4, a Hit for 7 and your Coppertop Killer means that is a kill!

Your next shot... runs out of ammo, Burn! I am afraid an instruction to fire 15 bursts is doomed to failure...

You may rerload with your main action, but this means you gain two exertion.

hmm, i thought i had 30 bullets in that gun,
oh well, do it, reload
at least i damaged a bunch,
ares, care to finish em off?

You DO have thirty bullets. That's ten bursts worth!

oh, right,
ok,
well ill leave it up to ares while i reload

Two bursts at one of the guys, while getting up on top of something to get a better aim.

Ok, Ares, that's two Very Fast actions there, I think. You roll +3- handy. That is a 19, a Hit for 4.

ares, just attack them all, most of them are hit, and you can wipe a bunch

Another burst, ending my very fast actions...

Ok then, let's see...

Five bad guys firing- Rade killed the one who would not have fired this turn (if you don't specify a target, I will always kill the least favourable one)

Too many targets for them all to hit, so they will fire at Rade (killed one of them), Ares (poncing about on a table), Coeus (right next to them), Celsius (also firing efficiently at them) and Burn (also looks dangerous).

Burn gets clipped! 6 damage to him. Everyone else, though is just fine.

Focus refreshes!

-----

A lot of reloading going on this turn with the Mundanes, giving you a good chance. Heph and Mors, I'll need two attack and defences form you again this turn!

Celsius moves up and fires again, this time with Egale Ryr enough to not worry about cover now he has moved up.

You roll Evens, for a 15. With your target already hit, that is enough for a kill!

Rade and Fire, both charging into battle, are fired at. Both are missed! Fire dodged as requested. Rade, you are in position to attack but I need a strike from you. Fire does his Roaring Blade Strikes Flying Weapon.

Fire rolls -2, giving him a 12. That is a Hit... but for no good effect. Your strike tears off some of his clothing, Fire, but little else.

What about that last burst I added to that?

This round, my first Very Fast action is two bursts, one at the guy hit 6 and another at the guy hit 4.

That other burst rolled evens... good enough for a Hit fo 1 now you are a little past their cover.

No guy hit for 6 now, Ares, so I'll need a new target.

As for the guy hit for 4... you roll +2 which gives you evens again, another Hit of 1.

Now that we are in the new round...

Mors unleashes a Whirlwind Blade Assault, modified by Roaring Blade Strike, aiming for Knifeman's gut.

Then a dodge.

Then a Hand of the Jade Emperor for the Knifeman's chest.

Another dodge.

Bite of the Butterfly at Zuban again.

Then Heph tosses the knives down as he dodges.

He then launches a Lightning Fist at Zuban's face.

He then rolls through Zuban's legs to get behind him.

The Roaring Blade Strike is pretty irrelevant as he is not armoured and you could not afford the WBO. You will note I did not referesh your Focus as a reminder- you may not used banked actions to bypass the Focus refresh time. That is a standard attack, which he dodges. Though he need not have bothered, as you rolled -6!

His attack then is another Bite, for a fast attack. He rolls -1; with you dodging that is well clear.

In the new round, the Hand attack is fine, and he will definitely dodge that! Err... -11, Mors. Hmm, I think you must have lost your grip on your sword!

If he attacks you more than once, Mors, how many dodges are you willing to make?

I'm exerted..
but you said i could take very fasts during exerted rounds.
haha,
2 burst 2 allready hit guys
2 bursts at 2 other guys
