Standard gear Batman doesn't have any gas that is going to make Wolverine drowsy let alone incapacitate him. Why? Because Wolverine has a healing factor. What does that mean? It means he has a super fast metabolism, that easily compensates for most poisons and knockout gases.

Nick Fury has never in the 616 reality kicked Logans ass. He actaully lost.
House of M alternate reality which never took place was the only time Nick fury beat a wolverine and that wolverine is in no way shape or form close to as skilled or as experienced as 616 wolverine.
