But both of these girls knew these guys, I doubt they had any reason to expect them to do something like this. More than half of sexual assaults are by people we know.

yes, I would definately defend myself. However, if I was with people I knew and had no reason to not trust them, I wouldn't bring pepper spray with me.
But yes, I would definately fight back. I wouldn't just say no, I would punch, hit, kick, do anything to get out of that situation. I've read too many sad stories to be too scared to not do anything.

Something needs to be done...if they do it once, they will do it again...in most cases of sexual assult/rape or the crimes of that nature, the offeners that go to court have offended before...

i know, but i cant really make them do something about it, i mean its up to them....i can call the cops but they have to do the major stuff after all it happened to them and if they wont then nothing can be done.....maybe thats how they want it to be, i dont know....
