With the case of taki.. I've found her alternate outfit more realistic...(the black n white one) even though she dont wear any freakin pants XD

you can also consider her first outfit as stretchy lycra material that moves as much as she needs, but causes a distraction to her enemies.. though it is indeed a bit too modern for someone supposedly from the feudal japan era

but hey.. its creative freedom.. we may as well start complaining that we have to fight a living fire that knows every single weapon art in the world.. /shrug

some video game 'babes' that I like :

- Ivy (Soul Calibur)
- Meryl (Metal Gear Solid)
- Fortune (Metal Gear Sold 2)
- Assassin (Diablo 2)
- Blaze (Streets of Rage)

Excellent post!

Your the one that brought up how a character is supposed to lookk their nationality. Does he look like he's from said era?

The Soul Calibur games exist in an era where intercontinental trade is becoming commonplace, and there is a steady exchange of cultures. So anyone's clothing is no argument against where they come from. I'll put it simply: Taki's height and and bust size are not Japanese.

😆 😆 😆
That was funny, Tae Kwan Do is at best a sport. As an MA it falls miserably, what kinda fighting style teaches you to use only kicks?

Name me a successful Tae Kwan Do practionar in the world of MMA?

Your knowledge of TKD is laughable. The very name means "Way of the Hand and Foot." The primary focus is on kicking because, obviously enough, the leg is the longest weapon the body has, but you learn a full range of hand chops, blocks, and grabs. Also, TKD philosophy regards it only as a self-defense, after someone else has instigated aggression. It may pale as an agressive art, but that's because it was never meant to be one. The intention is to block and dodge until the aggressor has tired themselves out, then incapacitate them swiftly with precise strikes.

BS, a Kimoni is impossible to move around in.

That was sarcasm, and thank you for agreeing with me.

I...kinda think that too. I mean he's all talking about how Maxi has the right build and proportions for a Japanese man and that he doesn't find Taki's outfit sexy.

No, I'm just far more mature and far less driven by hormones than most of the similarly-aged males in this thread, it seems. God forbid I see female game characters as anything other than curvy potential sex fantasies.

Oh an EA, the greatest fighter in the world is someone unknown who wouldn't be allowed in MMA because his style isn't like punk ass Jiu-Jitsu(if I spelled it wrong oh well), his is probably meant to kill. And fighters that mix styles have many moves but theirs a problem. It's like some of the cell phones that are both a camera and a phone, you just end up with a shitty phone and a shitty camera.

Kimono IS hard to move in. I've worn one before. Hell, it wasn't even proper kimono, just a yukata, and it was hard to move in.

But a kunoichi would likely wear kimono most of the time, yes.

Why? Same reason a ninja would normally dress as a peasant. They're meant to blend in with their surroundings. And what better way to do so than to look like everyone else? You can't be stealthy and sneaky if you stand out like a sore thumb.

100% true.

And, neither are Maxi's clothes infact his clothes should not even exsist.

This argument was about initially about clothes, but when you saw that your case was a hypocritical one you jumped ship to body proportions.

Right, which is why it's so successful in the world of martial arts. 😆

Weak joint locks, Hyper Focus on Kicks, inferior hand strikes, and B.S. So deadly.

Almost as deadly as Shotokan Karate or Systema.

General Kaliero, quit derailing the thread and post pictures of some fine-ass babes, if you even got the balls too.

I have a personal admiration for taekwondo as I practice it myself... you dont just use your feet.. (thats only for certain tournament rules).. but the most devastating attacks available to you in TKD come from your legs... the art originated as chinese liked to invade korea on horseback... so jumping high kicks took them down

but the only way I see a kunoichi wearing a kimono is if they're pretending to be a concubine

I don't think you're a mod.

So don't try and act like one.

Mods aren't Gods. Admins are. He wasn't ordering him just being sarcastic/funny or w/e. TKD actually in the grand scheme of things isn't a relatively efficient martial art.

Okay, So why would Taki dress in a kimoni which is clearly a typical Kunoichi's out fit to fight?

It's a bias double standard, notice how he critique Taki for dressing unrealistic. But, as soon as I bring up Maxi he jumps to body proportions. 😆

Who said it was a 'typical outfit to fight'?

I certainly never did. I said that's what they'd normally be wearing. And even if caught unawares, it'd be possible to fight while wearing a kimono. Not easy, but with training it could be done. Considering that geisha can dance while in full kimono a kunoichi would certainly be able to fight in one. Not to mention that with the layers of robes, large sleeves, and obi? Perfect places to hide weapons.

But they certainly wouldn't be wearing skin tight clothing as that didn't even exist.

Ayame's pants are more in keeping with what a kunoichi would have worn than Taki's skintight number, yeah. And at least her chest isn't wobbling about threatening to give herself and others concussions.

No one said anything, I'm simply asking.

Never claimed you did, lana.

Hide weapons and not use them because you'd die. Ninja's aren't designed for long prolonged fights, which is why they wear guise and weapons designed to kill in an instant. Taki on the other hand is a demon slayer, So, what good would fighting like a conventional Ninja do her?

Neither do the demons.
