just came across this in an essay 😱 it's entitled "Lestat Rules!" 😍
"....Lestat has a very strong personality. He does thing the way that he wanted to. He doesn’t care about the rules or what other people think. Some may think that he is selfish and inconsiderate, but that is Lestat. It might be his flaw, but it might also be his stronger side. That is one of the reasons why he kept on having so many adventures. He stands back straight again after falling down. He doesn’t give up. He feels also. He loved very easily and therefore hurt very easily also.
I think that one of the reason Louisians love Louis is because he resembles human more. He is the most human one in all the vampires. It is exactly the same with Lestat. Lestatians love Lestat more, because Lestat is the most perfect vampire. I am not even going to reply about comparing Lestat with the blonde hair mortal. It is an insult for Lestat. Lestat is a vampire. Please put this in mind, vampires are NOT the same as mortal. Those things that are significant to human mean nothing to a vampire, such as parent and anniversaries. Vampire most of the part do whatever they want, even Louis. They are not bind by parents. Dates have no meaning for vampire. They have all the time in the world, they probably don’t even keep track of time anymore. "

yes, i know full on about that. i just didn't want to seem repetitive sounding there. anyways, i'm grieved that i cannot find that doujinshi graphic novel series of "interview with the vampire". 🙁 i loved the drawings of louis and lestat in it 😊 louis had black har in that 😍

now im reading 'the witching hour' (from lives of the mayfair witches ser.) by her.
its very good but i like the vamp. chron. much better...dunno the vampire are nicer for me than the witches 😄 but of course this is cool too cuz what anne rice wrote that can be only good 😄

Johnny D was actually offered the role as Lestat in Interview with the Vampire but turned it down! imagine!what'dyou guys htink he'd have been like if he'd taken up the offer?
I said something about that in the official Johnny Depp thread. In an issue of a movie magazine called "Premiere", a few issues back, they had a column on a list of semi old movies that named who was the original choice for certain characters by the director. I think Brad Pitt was the director's first and final choice for Louis...*shrugs* Anyways...when I heard that, i couldn't believe it! 😱 he turned it down! *cries* why why why? 😆 oh the disoppointment! *sobs* I would have so loved to see deppj as lestat!
if deppj had been lestat, he would've been perfect 😊 ! i mean, he has the right looks, that oh so lovely voice, and a good actor to portray someone so evil like lestat. but the only downer that i find about most movies that deppj is in, he tries to make his characters comical and change it up a bit to make it so. i'm not saying that's a bad thing and all. but that would just not do justice for the role of lestat. sure lestat is sarcastic and all, in his own way, but....well, deppj is perfect for the role and shouldn't have passed that up! if he keeps to the script and stay true to character, he would've been so hot and got it down to a dime. that's my opinion. ^.^
