Yeah, I saw that on the news. They are predicting we might have one of those hard winters down south. They tend to happen about once every 10 years.
The last time we had 12 foot snow drifts and it snowed for like 3 weeks solid. Had great fun racing our cars through the snowed up country lanes.
No whilst 3 weeks and 12 foot drifts may not sound like a lot, in the south of England it is a hell of a lot. Normally we get the slushy and ice, hardly enough to build a decent snow man.
This is when I miss the fact that we moved into the town and out of the villages nearby.

Last time it snowed reall bad , 1990 I think it was, we raced through those lanes and as we went the caves snow would start to collapse down. I nearly got buried once. It was amazing.
Back then I had a crappy little ford escort, fancy trying it now in the Vectra with a much bigger and faster car. Plus the ABS and Traction Control mean you could go faster too!!! 😈
