This cold spell that passed through recently was ultra pathetic!! In Dallas we had an 'Ice glaze', which is like half a millimeter of ice, and everyone panicked and there were like 74 car crashes, and a school bus full of children was stranded on an overpass 🙄

Really?..I was in Texas last weekend and it was downright balmy.

It was! Then it got warmer, and then this week we had that cold spell, and now it's sunny and back in the high 50's.

Apparently it's been an indicator of heavy snows following on 4-8 weeks later when it happens at this time of year, according to the weather guy on the TV anyway.

Rain-> Warm-> Rain-> Warm = Snow???

Something about it causing a massive low pressure spot or something?

What do the weather men/women of today know eh? Give me the old days when they had magnetic cloud and sun shapes any day. 🙄
