bungie confirmed halo 3 ... problem is its being made for the x-box 2 that's coming out next year

can you post a link where they confirm it, I mean I know it's probably gonna get made, I just wanna see them confirm it.

i havnt played the game but what ive heard that good players beat it in less than 10 hours. I say thats a short game.

as I said earlier:

yeah, i agree.... chief is SO much better

and trust me, when you complete the game, you'll just sit there

for about 30 minutes

staring at the screen

then wonder....

WHEN THE HELL DOES HALO 3 COME OUT?? 😠

yah, but everyone that's beat it so far has probably just ventured into Normal mode.

Legendary is what it's all about. I still haven't played 2 player co-op yet.

I'm not in a rush to finisht the game. There is so many new things to try that I'm just taking my time. Normal mode feels a lot more harder in Halo 2 than in Halo 1. 😑

normal is a little easier in Halo 2 than in Halo, I beat it on Normal first, now I'm plaing it on Heroic, and next the insanely hard Legendary.

**** this game is amazing. I want Halo 3. Now.

Halo 2

.

Got a little something for everyone to think about here.

I was cruising the Bungie message boards, and RUMOR has it that the reason why Halo 2's ending seemed so incomplete and left you wanting more is....

because Bungie plans on releasing more of the game through X-box live. The rumor is that there will be an actual final level where you fight as the Master Chief instead of the Arbitar. Also, that this final level will come out on a demo disk for OXM subscribers.

of course this is merely a RUMOR, but would it really surprise you guys all that much? Microsoft doing it to increase their X-Box Live customer base while creating extra revenue as well.

Thoughts please.

Another ridiculously short game for the X-Box, my friend beat it in one sitting on normal mode.

the game is meant for multiplayer its not meant to be a 50 hour rpg

Never said it should be 50 hours, nor an RPG. However, it should be longer then 8 hours and it shouldn't be beaten in one sitting. 25 hours is good for a single player campaign.

There are plenty of people who wanted the game for the single player, my friend included, and what he got was a good game, but very short.

but normal is pretty easy, try it on Heroic and it should probably take 15 hrs, and legendary, probably over 20 hrs.

i cant think of an fps console game that's long

imo the most exciting thing about halo2 is playing it online, its bumped over my unreal and counterstrike for the time being

to me normal on halo was alot easier than normal on halo2, those sniper aliens really kick your ass if you dont pay attention

Yeah, I know, unforunately he doesn't feel that the game warrants another time through single player campaign. He said that after beating the first Halo, he wanted to play through the compaign again and again because the levels were fun. He said that's not the case in this game, the levels weren't that fun and don't warrant another time through the campaign.

amen

i will, however, be completing it again in English

damn, if i got the game and beat it in normal difficulty i would at least go for the highest difficulty, instead of just forget about the challenge

off-topic: lettermen got 3rd place in the 51 biggest smart-asses and triumph the insult comic dog got 23rd............this is some bullsh!t

yet another unfair halo series bash by backfire. yah.

your not supposed to play it just on normal mode. you have to start on heroic. besides, if you do that, you get a new multi map.

also, pray tell who this friend is? does that mean your solely taking his word on it? have you even played a decent amount of the game?

How is this a Halo bash? I said nothing about the game, I'm merely repeating what a friend of mine said who beat the game. I was watching him play the game and it looked neat. Nothing overly special, but neat none the less.

Well, if they expect people to play through the game multiple times, then they should have given it a higher replay value, which obviously it doesn't have for everyone. A good game should give a sense of satisfaction after beating it on normal mode, it shouldn't require you to play through it again and again to get that sense of satisfaction.

Who is my friend? Well, he's my friend, he's someone who loved the first Halo, played through it multiple times and beat it on legendary mode. So if he says that Halo 2 doesn't warrant another go around after beating it one time on normal, then I think something is wrong with the game. He does know his shit when it comes to gaming, and seeing as he's my friend, I am going to take his word on something like this since he's proved time and time again to me that he does indeed know what he's talking about, especially when it comes to Halo, and games in general.
