lmao.. this dude totally slammed halo2 cheat reporting
I'm realistic I didn't ***** until it was a week. How much time is reasonable? two weeks, a month, when xbox 360 comes out, when i'm in a nursing home?
Listen dark, I really don't see what the problem is. Why are your parents so vehemontly against XBL.
You need to go up to them, call a spade a spade in relative terms, and tell them you want XBL. Tell them you want to play a game with your friends on the interent. You need to tell them about how buying just 1 12 year subscription pack gets you a free game, a headset, and 12 months free.
You need to remind them that you probably havent gotten any games in a while, and that all you really play is halo 2. You can remind them how since all you ever really play is halo 2, they wouldnt have to buy almost any new games for the xbox.
At most, the best games you should own for the XB that you already don't own are KOTOR, doom 3, and jade empire.
maybe you could consider picking up Conker,(a XBL title).
but I digress. You need to tell them that You want to play with friends, How much a bargain it would be since they wouldnt have to buy you any new games- remember to bring up the halo 2 online downloads. Since by the time school starts this fall, all the maps will be free, they won't have to buy the halo 2 map pack. by getting the 50-60 dollar XBL 1 year subscription pack with crimson skies(a great XBL game), a headset, and a year subscription card, they will be paying considerably less in terms of overall value. Instead of buying a 20 dollar map pack, you will be getting XBL, a game, AND the maps, for 50 bucks.
THat screams bargain if I ever heard one. Heck you can show them this post if it helps the cause.
GET THIS KID XBOX LIVE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SOMEONE obviously hasn't seen this weeks "weekly whatsupdate"
where they go indepth to discuss the current cheating plague, what they have done, what they are doing, and what they WILL do.
So stop your bitching.
I was wondering though... I already got the 4 previous new maps over xbox live.... should I get the 20 dollar disc.. or the 11.99 for 5 maps deal?... cuz I was thinking if I get the 20 dollar disc.. I could install the maps on all my nephews xboxes.. so this way they arent playing halo 2 1.0 anymore (its so irritating playing 1.0)
I just bought my copy and the bonus features include:
*Behind the Scenes:Halo 2 Multiplayer
*"Another Day at the Beach"-Animated Halo 2 side story short.
*Complete game updates, including improved support for HDTV, improved Xbox live gameplay, and cool game play enhancements.
Easter Eggs haven't been found yet. I'll be playing all day long during the weekend. Might write a review next week.
I always imagined Halo 2 for Xbox Live would be like a happy, sportsmanlike community who just wants to have fun. Kind of like me and a dozen friends on one of our LAN hosted games. Those were the times, when it didn't really matter who lost or won, you were just there to have fun. Hah, yeah right.
I read an article yesterday about judging gender in Halo 2 gaming on Live. The OXM(Official Xbox Mag) signed up for new gamertags with feminine Tags, and made their girlfriends/wives/general female members of the family put on the headsets and talk.
The majority of the responce were good: A simple "Good game," or "Nice playing, ma'am." acknowledged their supposedly "female" prescence. Others noticed that there were indeed females playing, but kept neutral about it.
The minority rest gave them smack such as "This is a man's game, hon." or "I can't believe a girl's playing." And were loud about it too.
Losers.
