Don't care, Just Do It!

Aha! Mors, you've got that new power that you're bound to love, remember? Think like a Grasshopper... 😉

Use Gathering of the Clouds to shoot at the Agents while running. I'll shoot at Agent 2, since he would engage Mors next, with 4 bursts, using Gathering of the Clouds. Pick an Agent and shoot him.

Not sure how much ammo I've got left...I lost count somewhere how many bursts I've fired, oops.

So I'm going to use my banked action to fire 4 bursts at the SWAT guy hit for 4 (hello you guys, they can do damage too!). Willow Step against any SWAT attacks, basic dodge if the agent attacks.

Main action I will continue running towards the windows (defense will be a basic dodge against any attacks). AND...
"So...what exactly do we do when we get to the windows? We're 13 floors up, and that's quite a drop." San asks into the phone.

(That just hit me last night, and I was wondering if anyone else was going to notice this...)

Ok, San, first of all you fire at the SWAT. You roll +1, for an 18. That is a Hit of 5- enough to kill him! Good work!

"Smash the windows," says Dallas (remember, it takesd time for him to tell you this stuff so I cannot give you the whole lot all at once. "There are two window cleaning boxes three floors down- you have to get onto them!"

Ares, actually, Agent 2 is running towards you guys. He is jumping OVER the cubilces, one at a time, taking sahots at you in the air. Occasionally his foot catches a cubicle wall and knocks it down.

(This makes a nice bullet time shot as the camera pans around this room, Mors engaging the Agent at one end, then the Agent leaping slowly over each cubicle, bullets flying slowly out his gun, panning round to where you guys are running and ducking like mad away from him...)

I shall therefore assume you fire at the Agent Mors is fighting. You roll +2, for a 19.

Agent Performs: Bullet Dodge

He has to stop fighting Mors for a short while as he blurs to avoid your bullets. Agent gains three exertion.

Burn, you fire. You roll +1 for a 17.

Agent Performs: Bullet Dodge

That gains him another exertion.

But then you have to re-load!

Ok, Agent 2 fires two rounds at San, who dodges. The Agent rolls -5, so nvm, about that...

The other SWAT guy fires at Barbarossa. He rolls -3; no good.

-----

Agent 2 is out of ammo and simply drops his gun as he runs through the office with a determined expression towards the guys at the windows...

Incidentally, thanks to Fire, fresh info about Agents is now in, in the Agent Intelligence thread.

Barbarossa wants to fire 3 bursts at agent 2 while running towards the window (basic dodge for defense).

Ok, well, I ran him to the window, him shooting can be his banked action. He rolls evens for a 15.

Agent Performs: Bullet dodge

He blurs somewhat as he runs, gaining an exertion...

Do you have a plan, San?

Hey, that rhymed... 😛

Ares smashed out a window with the butt of his Ingrams, preparing to jump out...

I'll smash the window with my katana.

A plan? Yeah. Break window, jump out, hope that I land in the scaffolding 😛

San's going to smash a window with the butt of her gun, and get ready to jump out...

(hee...would this be the proper time to let you all know that in real life I'm terrified of heights and wouldn't go anywhere near that damn window?

And I go back to school today...so I gotta go...)

Ok, well, this window smashing lark is harder than you guys thought. THis glass is toughened and you all just failed to do much more than crack it. Poor! You probably want to try a little harder to break inanimiate objects, he hinted...

The other SWAT is out of ammo so we can forget about him.

Ok, Agent 2 is coming towards you guys like a juggernaught!

I dunno if it is possible for you to do so, Rex, but hetting some indication of what Mors wants to do might be a good idea before I kill him.

So maybe a path could break the glass. Or we could sidestep at the last second and let the agent smash it, fly through it and fall to his doom.

Oh, enough hits would break the glass, just some Path powers make it very easy. Like one of yours, Cloud...

I don't suppose you're going to tell me which one...

Oh here we are ROARING BLADE STRIKE, just needed to look...

Nice. You roll a -2 but with the double damage that is more than enough to smash one window open, which two people at a time can fit through.

"Go, Go, Go!" Cloud yells. I'll need to wait won't I as I've had my action. Hell I may even have to engage that agent.

Ok.

Does anyone have a Mors plan? I know it is hard with he himself not being here.
