USH'S MATRIX GAME: THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'Eliminate'- COMBAT PATH

Started by Ushgarak38 pages

Ok, lemme see. Agent 1 takes the Flip like a man... Mors rolls -1 for a 12. That's a miss!

So that kinda buggers things. The Agent attacks him that turn first anyway, so he needs a dodge against that, and then he needs another as he has failed to leave the combat and the Agent will attack him again (though due to exertion after the bullet dodges the Agent's second strike will come after Mors' second)

Then he'd like to use Flip again and run this action, if possible.

I guess he is not dodging...

Agent rolls a +1 for a 14, a Hit! Five damage to Mors from that glancing blow, before Mors Flips again...

Much better! Mors rolls +2 for 15, a Hit! This does little damage to the Agent- one point- but gets Mors out of the combat! He can then run.

Which means Mors is only two thirds across the room this action. Agent 1, who lost an action due to exertion, is one-third across.

Rex,can you tell Mors not to lay into the second agent due to newfound difficultys, specificly the fact that Agents get stronger if you attack them.

(Ka-chik) Agent 2

He blurs slightly again as he closes in on San, gaining an exertion.

ok, whats his exertion at again?

Zero.

Crap crap damnit!!! Pfft...I'll use Fox's Retreat (almost forgot that I took that path when you changed the system) against that damn agent's attack.

Is that so?

*Ares throws self against window, hoping to shatter it and leap out*

The window is shattered...

Ok, Agent 2 rolls -4, and you easily dodge his blow, San!

Ares, yup, it is shattered, and you would probably just bounce off it...

Before I advance, is anyone actually heading out of the window this action or is everyone staying in?

I'm getting out!

Ares jumps out the window with a shout of "Bonzai!"

Mors would like to get out, but seeing I'm running across the room, Morpheus-style before he gets shot in the leg... 😉

Bullet-time, right? 😛

Ok then, it is you and Barb. One focus gets you down with a Leap, and you land in one of the two window cleaning boxes! Mind you, without San you dunno what to do next...

Bullet time is good...

Round over, focus refreshes and exertion resets!

-----

Note that Burn was highly exerted at the end of the last action so gas started off without his extra action this time.

Agent one will run into the far side of the office, firing two rounds at Mors.

Agent 2 wants another crack at San, this time taking a kick!

I could be suicidal and attack agent 2, letting San and Burn go down while me and Mors cover their asses. But I don't wanna die...and I did say COULD not WILL...I'll see what the others do

Heheheh...

Do these agents have names?

The only Agent I have named is Daniels (1).

They do all have distinct personalities though.

How about Johnson and Jones?

Ah, well, neither of them feel like telling you their names..
