Hmmmm, I wonder if I could ABUNDANT LEAP down to the street and survive

Surely not! You are 17 points of damage clear from the most injured guy right now...

Just a thought

OK, as soon as we hit the next floor I'll ROARING BLADE STRIKE on the window.

Heh, as to the leaping comment, afraid not... the 'Surely not!"' was to your certainity of death.

I think I'll just ignore that little comment...

I don't think you'd be able to jump down to the ground...and speaking of most injured, have you seen what the philo guys are up to? And of course it'd be just our luck for the lifts to be not working...I had kinda suspected that something like that would happen.

(On another note, laser tag's a lot of fun 😄)

when we get to the second floor, we could jump and bypass the lobby
(second story in the American sence)

Ok, how are we doing, let's see...

-----

STATE OF PLAY AT: Fifth Round, fourth action

Window Cleaning box (8th floor)

Agent 2: ?/4/0

Window Cleaning box (8th floor)

Agent 1: ?/4/1

Burn: 3/14/2
Cloud: 15/28/-1
Mors: 13/19/-1

Main Office- 8th floor
Barbarossa: 10/0/0 (halfway across office)
Ares: 8/6/0
San: 10/12/1

CURRENTLY OWED ACTIONS: None

-----

Agent 2 climbs in after San as Area runs and reloads.

Agent 1 performs: Hold and Pin

His hand shoots out for your throat, Burn...

Cloud, you smash at the window. Your roll a rather neat +6, and with your damage to the object doubled, that window is totally smashed!

I'm going to run and use Gathering of the Clouds to Lightning Reload at the same time.

Guess I'm reloading then.

Ok, well, obviously, main things we are waiting for...

... actually, what am I talking about? Burn has few options; he will almost certainly dodge.

Agent 1 rolls +1, for a 17. His hand latches out onto your throat, Burn, throttling you, and he hoists you up into the air...

Burn is Held.

Other than that, it is the end of the round! Focus refreshes and exertion resets!

STATE OF PLAY AT: Sixth Round, first action

Window Cleaning box (8th floor)

Agent 1: ?/4/0

Burn: 8/14/2
Cloud: 15/28/-1
Mors: 11/19/-1

Main Office- 8th floor
Barbarossa: 10/0/0 (Far side of office)
Ares: 8/6/0 (halfway across office)
San: 10/12/0 (halfway across office)
Agent 2: ?/4/-2

CURRENTLY OWED ACTIONS: Mors (1), Ares (1), Barbarossa (1), San (1), Burn (1), Agent 1 (1)

-----

Mors' action banked as I did not know if he was going to fight or run, but it is all much the same anyway.

Agent 1 Performs: Throw

Agent 1, from his position with Burn held, turns towards Cloud and flings Burn AT him...

Cloud may take a defensive action if he wants...

Barbarossa has had made it to the far side of the office- the corrdior to the lifts is nearby.

Agent 2 Performs: Pose- Faster, Quicker

Agent 2 stops for a moment to check his reflection in one of the unbroken window panes, before continuing to give chase after San, Barb and Ares!

Mors, Burn and Cloud- there is broken glass falling down from above.

Gathering of the Clouds, four bursts at Agent 2.

I'll just dodge, and grab Burns hand if he falls off the edge.

Sorry 'bout that Cloud
*As Im flying at Cloud I arch back and look up, seeing where the glass is coming from*
No way I could stop huh?

Hmmmm, I'm sensing the Agent doesn't want us here and he wants to be "alone" with Mors

Oh yeah I'll start heading through that office, and avoid agent 2 while doing so

Banked action: 4 bursts at Mr. Agent (he's really starting to piss me off...)
Main action: Run through the office.
Just a basic dodge against any attacks.

Nope, the throw is an auto-hit, Burn, and that dodge against the Hold and Pin was all you could do.

The Agent rolls +3 on his throw roll, which is an 18; Cloud's dodge was a 17... the Agent hits! Which means Cloud is hit as well, and is knocked Prone and takes half the damage Burn takes.

Burn, incidentally, takes 13 damage from that throw. He smashes through the side of the box closest to the window and just about rolls into the building, knocked prone.

Cloud takes six damage and is Prone inside the box.

Which means you both spend your actions getting up...

Still, you can both be looking up when, eight floors above you, Azrael comes leaping out of the broken window. He grabs on to the lower part of the enormous CCC sign that adorns the side of the building.

San, you fire. You roll -1, not your best shot, but still a 16; the Agent performs a bullet dodge for one exertion.

Ares, you fire also, rolling a +1 for a 19- neat! The Agent continues to bullet dodge, for another two exertion.

This is good news as it means he does not catch you when he runs!

Mors save us!
Oh yea, and waves at Arezal as hes hanging on the sign
(Going to read the Philo path thread to see what just happened, Be prepared for another Do not do this announcement)

Agent 1, with his banked action, having removed the others, attacks Mors

Agent 1 Performs: Straight Punch

-----

STATE OF PLAY AT: Sixth Round, second action

Window Cleaning box (8th floor)

Agent 1: ?/4/0

Burn: 8/27/2
Cloud: 15/34/-1
Mors: 11/19/-1

Main Office- 8th floor
Ares: 8/6/0 (far side of office)
San: 10/12/0 (far side of office)
Agent 2: ?/4/1 (halfway across office)

Lift corridor- 8th floor
Barbarossa: 10/0/0

CURRENTLY OWED ACTIONS: Mors (1), Barbarossa (1)

IMPORTANT ACTIONS STILL TO BE RESOLVED: Mors' defence against that punch, and his actions in return.

"Get Barb to force open those doors, and get into the shaft!" says Dallas.
