USH'S MATRIX GAME: THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'Eliminate'- COMBAT PATH

Actually, they are both side on to you. You are closer to the window.

Mors is too heavy to do anything fancy, so how to get that fortune point...

Maybe it would be better if Burn took him and I distracted the agent....by possibly using my combo...

The issue then would be you getting away.

Screw it, Burn shoot at the agent I'll run up and grab Mors throwing him over my shoulder.

hmm,
any way to tip the Box, so he slides?
other than that,
Choud run and get him the use leaping storm to jump past the agent and into the room.

Ok then. Right, in that process, as you have up Mors, Cloud, the Agent will take a shot at you. It will be a Kick, and you have -1 to your defence whilst carrying Mors. Do you wish to take a defensive action?

Well can I Ka-chink him?

Sure. You roll +1 for a 17. The agent dodges, gaining one more exertion.

Does that stop the attack on cloud?

No

Goddamn, Mors, goddamn...

Oh this is great...stupid Mors, not running...well, Agent 2 is exerted, so run while you get the chance, guys! Ares, let's shoot at Agent 1 to try and exert him. (oh, and there's one last thing I need to check on, but I think I may have cracked how Agents gain exertion with Bullet Dodge...)

3 bursts at Agent 1 for my next action (bank it if you need to...) while running towards the shaft (use Gathering of the Clouds)

(Me and Barbarossa have semester exams tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday, so we may be a little scarce until Thursday afternoon.)

Alrighty, 4 bursts at Agent 1 while running towards the shaft.

Ok, well, with all those bullets, Ares and San make it to the shaft safely.

We just need Cloud to take or not take a Defensive Action now.

Mors, risking the lives of others... 🙄

I hope this works, I'll LEARNED TUTOR'S BLOCK (Just as those twins did to me)

That's an interesting choice... because a Block assumes you want to keep on fighting. Which you don't, you want to get out of his way. A standard dodge would have been as effective. Still...

The Agent rolls -3... a miss! You grab Mors, haul him over your shoulder, spin and block the Kick coming from the Agent, and dash on into the office!

Ok, now we have one obstacle left. Cloud and Burn have to get past Agent 2 to get to the lift shaft. I shall need their plan to do that, alongside anyone else's plan to help them.

Hmmmm...anyone got any ideas?

Just waiting for Burn, I think...
