USH'S MATRIX GAME: THIRD ASSIGNMENT- 'Eliminate'- COMBAT PATH

"Same..." Ares says, moving a rock. "None of us do. Three Agents, a SWAT team, and lots of explosives."

Ok then! Now we seem to be getting somewhere. Working as a team likwe that, you have soon moved enough rocks away to form a kind of tunnel, which is kind of stable.

What I need to know now- and this is always fun- is in what order are you going to go?

'Kind of' stable? Heh, not even going to say what I'd like to about that, because I'd probably jinx us...

As for the order we go in...I'd suggest, that in case once we get out there are people there waiting/looking for us, those of us who still have guns go in first, and then Cloud and Mors be last, since they're both injured. So, Ares, Burn, Barbarossa, you guys decide which of you wants to go in first, then I'll go after them, then Cloud and Mors after me. Sound good?

(And I hate winter. Especially winter in Chicago, where one day it'll warm up just enough for some of the snow to melt and then go back to being frigid the next day so everything turns to ice. I fell down the front steps of my house last night because of the ice. It hurt.)

Awww, poor TM...

Talking of injuries... whilst some of you are indeed hurt, asa far as being knocked out of fights is concerned, your damage has been returned to zero for the next fight. BUT. Any damage you suffer during THIS sequence, as you escape the CCC building, WILL be there at the start of the next fight, so be careful.

Heh, okay...that means though that we need to be really careful in getting out of here because starting out a fight with damage already is not a good idea...

So that hints that we will be getting some damage. Man I wish I had a fortune point.

fine I'll go first shotgun out and ready to fire.

Ok, the San Plan it is ! The Splan, as I call it.

Ok, you are in pitch darkness. This is a b itch. You also have very little sense of direction.

"Whoa!" says Dallas, as you crawl along witht the phone to your ear, San. "You may want to tell Burn to hold up. About five metres in front of him, the ground down below has subsided, the rubble has fallen into the subsided hole, so basically we got a gap in this tunnel of about eight metres."

"Figures..." San says into the phone, before calling ahead to Burn. "Wait up, Burn, or you're gonna fall into a big hole..."

(sound of Burn falling into a big hole)

(j/k)

Ok, guys, more thinking required here; how do you want to travese this?

(splat) Oops....Heh, kidding.

Well, that is a good question...I'm assuming the tunnel's too small so we can't just jump across...

"Any idea how deep that hole is?" San asks into the phone.

"I don't suppose I have any rope, or there's a phone down here to bring me rope..." Ares rolls his eyes.

"Errr... hard call that," says Dallas. "It goes about fifty metres down all told, but there are all sorts of jaggedy bits all over ther place; it's not a smooth drop."

Ares pictures Dallas falling into the hole...

"What is at the bottom?" Ares asks. "And is there ledges that could let us hop across?"

"The bottom? More rubble. Earth. Probably some magma if you went down far enough, that kinda thing... errr... maybe there are, could be tricky."

"Burn, look down in the hole, see if there are any ledges."

There might be some blackness behind the blackness.

It's almost completely dark in here, remember? 😛

I hate darkness...

"Any way we could dig around it?"

"Nope," says Dallas. "Remember, that tunnel you are in is only stable because of that supporting beam the rubble is piled on. Go either side of that and you are in serious trouble."
