She kissed him back. "Thanks again for everything." She told him with a small smile. She walked back to the club, it wasn't that far, but with the headache she had it felt like it took her half an hour. She got into her little jeep and drove home.
As soon as she walked into her house her step father came up to her from the kitchen.
"Where the hell were you last night?" He asked. He didn't wait for her to respond, he smelled the alcohol on her. "Were you drinking?"
She ignored him and began to walk toward the stairs. When she hit the second step he grabbed her arm roughly and pulled her back down. "I asked you a question."
"Leave me alone Tyler." She snapped. "You're not my father."
"Don't you argue with me." He tightened his grasp around her arm. She tugged away and ran up the stairs, slamming the door behind her and locking it. He began to yell at her from downstairs but she blasted her stereo, drowning out his voice. She changed into clean clothes and called Jovanna, but she wasn't home. She still felt sick from the beer so she took a nap, hoping when she woke up she'd feel better.
She awoke and walked to her door, unlocking it and slightly pulling it open. She heard her father downstairs. She sighed and sat on her bed, she didn't want to go downstairs if he was there. She laid on her back and looked up at the ceiling.
Her mother was at her sister's house for the week, she just left yesterday.
She laughed, but made sure it wasn't too loud. It was amazing how he knew her so well (( 😉 )) "Yeah, one minute." She said smiling. She didn't want to climb out wearing a skirt. She changed into a pair of pink lepord print pants and a white tank top and put on her fake pink leather jacket on. She threw her pocketbook out the window and climbed out the window and down the tree. She let go a couple feet off of the ground to fall gently in front of Paul. She ran a hand through her hair and smiled. "Thanks baby." She pulled her pocketbook up on her shoulder.
