"Thanks." She dug through the top drawer and removed a dark blue button down shirt. She went into the bathroom and pulled on her panties, bra, and leather pants. In the mirror she noticed a couple more marks on her right shoulder that resembled burn marks. She put the shirt on unbuttoned and tied it at the bottom so it closed in front without having to button it. She walked into Paul's room and sat on the bed. "Thanks."

He handed her her present. "Happy birthday honey."

She looked at it as she held it in her hands. She examined it, wondering what it could be. "You didn't have to get me anything." She told him with a smile. She opened it, revealing...

Her eyes widened, surprised that he spent so much money on her. She jumped up and hugged him. "Thank you!" She kissed him quickly.

"You're welcome Jasmin." He kissed her forhead and hugged her.

She hugged him back. She could smell the soft scent of his cologne. She was so lucky he was there for her, maybe he was the one who could change her point of view on life, but she didn't want to get her hopes up. "Thanks for everything, Paul." Jasmin told him as she hugged him.

He smiled at her. "Are... are you ready to tell me yet?"

She shook her head. "No." She told him quietly. "When I can, I will."

"What was so bad that he did? If you don't face it, you're letting him win, no matter what he did. You should know that."

Jovana was with davon talking to him." so what are we going to do tonight". Jovana turn around waiting for pauls answer. then she notice a boy that she knows. " well i was planning......." OMG! Shariff! Shariff turn around and notice Jovana. OMG Jovana!. jovana ran to Shariff and hug him. Davon gave Shariff and nasty look. I cant belive its you. I havnt saw you since the six grade.

Jovana gave Shariff another hug. Shariff slide his hand on her face. "Your so beatiful". He ran his fingers through her black hair.
She pull away fast. "Hey I want you to meet my boyfriend."
She pull shariff to the place where her boyfriend was standing at. "Davon this i Shariff."Shariff this is Davon my boyfriend." Shariff put his hand out for a hand shake. Davon grab his hand. "Nice to meet you". Davon squeeze Shariffs hand tightly. Shariff pull his hand away.
He look at Javona. "Well i have to go now." "Where are you going?"
"I have boxing class." "Well later on maybe you could come to a club with us." "O.k what club?" "Jansport club." "Ill be there at eight."
Shariff walk away.

"so whos he." Jovana turn around and look at Davon. " Just a friend." "Well he was kinda of to friendly if you ask me." "Well im not asking you am I." she turn around and walk away.

"I know." She answered quietly, looking at the ground.

"It'll be okay. Whoever did it... wont be coming back. At least not while I'm around. Youdon't have to tell me if you don't trust me that muhc. Its okay." He issed her cheek.

She looked up at him. "It's not that I don't trust you. I do. I just don't want to tell you, I'm afraid you'll look at me differently."
