X-Men does Suck

First of all I have watched all of the first one so I am entitled to have my opinion.
X- Men was just completely terrible in the way of showing off the good original cartoon and comics(Evolution is also bad). The dialogue is mind-numblingly boring, the set pieces, scenes and special effects where not really impressive to say the least and the casting was awful.
That guy who played Cyclops had absolutely no screen presence to pull off a part that definately required it. Like Tobey Maguire in Spiderman he looked like he was just about old enough to legally drink milk and wear a bib.
Halle Berry as Storm was totally a misdirected casting as she also did not fit the image of a kickass mutant (She fries Toad and makes a mist... what a part!)
Hugh Jackman as Wolverine I just couldn't take seriously enough, he just didn't have that Wolverine attitude(or mask-total mistake because I loved the mask); he just walked around like he was miffed at something and occasionally getting his claws out.
Mystique in the comics and cartoons is a central figure in the plot, in the film however she's a naked , scaly, ugly, blue thing that runs around and holds no apparent influence in Magneto's plans.
Sabretooth was just a long-haired rockstar(with fake hairy eyebrows....ewww) in a long, brown coat who growled every so often and apart from dying did nothing of any importance.

wow thats a lot of reasons why you hate it haha but i think most people hear might disagree with you so dont be surprised if you get a few people annoyed :b

i agree with alot of your point, but i still liked the movie, the story was good, it was a film of x-men so thats cool and it starts the comic film industry!

nah i dont think so i think it was coz they didnt give reasons why they disliked the movie they just said it sucked but didnt give reasons for it

I agree that there was a lot of mistakes but i still like it. Interestingly though if you look at the X-Ray Jean Grey took of Wolverine's retracted claws they stop at the wrist so Logan's hands should be locked in place

I can understand some of your points when looking back at the original animated show and even the comic books, but its not possible to cast near identical look alikes to the original characters so obviously things have to be changed. Your point about mystique, the film was never meant to be a carbon copy of the originals, just another view on the x-men universe. And remember it was only the first movie, they couldnt have some all out spectacular sequences, they needed to introduce characters and put the start of character development into place.
About the mask, did u really wanna see hugh jackman with the original yellow and black mask, resulting in the original costume to keep the design throughout. Hugh Jackman in a bright yellow spandex suit, not exactly what u want to be seeing on screen. If the original designs had been kept it would have looked like a cheap comic book movie rip off and the movie would have failed completely.

I never mentioned anything about the yellow spandex, I just mentioned the mask should be included on Wolverine

The mask would have to be leather, Wolvie would be a gimp Ha Ha Ha 😆

Ive been on the net for 6 year, i doubt whether im squirming. I believe the first time around i did pick holes in your arguament. Fair enough you never did mention about the original costume colours, just a mask. One thing leads to another and i was simply stating a point of view from my side of this. Nothing more. 😛
