erm, so the diedara/sasuke fight, or the sasuke itachi fight, sasuke urochimaru fight, or the hidan kakuzu/team konoha fight, or the 4 tails urochimaru fight all meant nuthing to u??? {sure pain/jiraya was awesome but cmon}.

i wud say that often, shippuden has more tactics than pre shippuden. in pre shippuden, the basic techniques were being introduced, now the techniques and strategies are being refined and transformed.

Deidara and Sasuke fight sucked. In fact, I hate all Deidara fights. Cause Deidara is a queer.

Sasuke Itachi was alright.

Sasuke Orochimaru...Dude that sucked penultimate ass.

Hidan Kakuza vs. Konaha losers was alright I guess.

4 Tails Orochimaru, not really.

sakura/chiyo vs sasori was the best fight of the series imo.

-no bs from the villain, for example not going for the kill when they had the chance.

-two experienced fighters going at it with sakura complimenting the more experienced chiyo without getting in her way. that was her best showing.

-the display of learned skills by both sides was amazing.

-the length of the fight was great, short fights against a boss-type character are lame.

-good animation quality, very fluid, and the music fitted perfectly with the action.

-and it was just a good old high-level shinobi fight, no demons or kekki genki.

I agree for the most part.

One thing I disagree on is the no BS from the villain.

Sasori let himself get impaled so he can finally get embraced from his parents, who at that time were dolls.

That's worth 1,000 lols.

I've always wondered how a taijutsu fighter would be the best to fight a puppet master. I mean sure if you can get past the puppet the master should be easy to take out but getting pass the puppet with no long range attacks would seem to be...hard. More so since some have the poison on them that means you have to make sure you aren't hit.

Well Taijutsu masters are usually, you know, really fast.

The puppets used by puppet masters aren't usually slow either. Not to mention they can use more than one if they want.

And they are also usually very strong.

Hell, Sakura is not even really a Taijutsu master, she's just really strong, and she crushed Sasori's puppets.

Gai, though probably not as strong as Sakura, has amazing speed, so I think he could take most puppet masters pretty handily.

Nobody is really as strong as Tsunade and Sakura besides like Jirobu and Butterfly Chouji. But Sakura was sorta used like a puppet herself in the battle to avoid stuff. I guess it would also depend on the level of the taijutsu fighter compared to the puppet master also. There is also the fact the puppet master can hide if it's not an open space so the taijutsu fighter would have to actually find them and unlike Shino they don't have the bugs to track somebody. Also like Kankuro did when he's first shown battling the puppet master could hide in plain sight.

Kisame is around their strength level by what he has shown IMO.

Though I really don't care enough about this topic to debate it.

Does Kisame even have a strength feat?

Eh I just always thought Shino's clan or somebody that steals chakra would be better suited against puppet masters than a taijutsu master. But that's just me.

Yeah. Running through solid earth with his sword sticking out at high speeds.

Well I think a super duper fast and strong dude like Gai would be better, cause they can do a super speedblitz ftw.

Yea maybe but how many fighters have really been like Gai and Lee? Mixing super strength with super speed that is.

Kisame.

Kakashi to a lesser extent.

Kakashi doesn't really have the strength part...and Kisame doesn't really have the speed thing.

Kakashi was able to physically hold back Zabuza.

Kisame is very fast, lol. Dude is even fast when running underground.

Zabuza isn't exactly a powerhouse when it comes to strength. Course I guess any of the ninja could concievably pass Gai in strength since his is natural while the rest could amp strength and speed with chakra but still not many ninja are known for strength. Even then Gai is still like 4th in the strength department which Zabuza isn't even close to.

So does Kakashi but he's still generally referred to as being slower than Gai. And if I recall it's not like Kisame blitzed Gai he just called up a ocean to put everything in his favor. Though I guess a weaker clone isn't a good way to judge Kisame..

genjutsu won't work on puppets, but in the sasori fight, it seems that sakura was the best suited for chiyo to manipulate.

she actually listens to orders given and her medical skills and monstrous strength are second to tsunade's, she was the only one able to bust hiruko's back shield.

but other than sakura, i bet hinata with some medical training could be also as effective, she already had that ointment for naruto during the chunnin exams but her medical skills aren't near tsunade/sakura/chiyo levels. if they were, she would be uber

if you saw the first series' fillers, hinata developed a hyper form of gentle fist defense that surpassed neji's whirlwind, not sure if she still retains that technique. it was depicted as an ogi in the newest game they made.

What episode was that? Is it the one where she collapsed after doing it?

Genjutsu would work on the puppet master if it was a area effect genjutsu like what Kabuto did. Which would be just the same as working on the puppet since the master has to control it.
