Anyway, I'm satisfied with Sasuke being brough down. In fact, I don't want him to die. I don't want him to turn around and WTF pwn the 8 tails, though. I just want Sasuke to fail and have to turn tail. That won't happen, though. Sasuke will somehow win. 🙁
Or maybe this is all Madara's plan. He knew Sasuke would loose and would have to retreat. And he would realize again how weak he is. And maybe he'll try to get him to take Itachi's eyes again. But Sasuke won't and then he'll see the real Madara. And then Team Hawk (or what's left assuming anybody from it dies) will then become allies to Konoha to stop Madara.
Though I'm still hoping for Sasuke's death but I know it won't ever happen.

Itachi's body should long be decaying.
It looks like Sasuke has used his special eye two times now...all it looks like it can do is do the SAME exact things as before except now it can rip memories out of people.
It hasn't really been that long. Plus maybe Pein has it made into a puppet or whatever he has so his dead bodies don't decay in case Sasuke wants the eyes.
Well he can't really kill it so genjutsu would have been the best way. And he should know best how effective a MS genjutsu is. So it would seem smart...Breaking out of the MS has also never been done until now.

That's a good point. Since Madara is the master behind the plan, I wouldn't put it past him to have Pein turn Itachi's body into a puppet. Actually, that sounds rather in line with the writing style. I won't be surprised, now, if that is actually what happens.

Maybe that's what Zetsu does. He doesn't really eat them he just takes their bodies so Pein can create puppets from them he can use later on if one gets destroyed or something.
It was used to find out where the 8-tails hid but I thought that was just genjutsu and he tortured the guy to get the info. But if it wasn't what's that really going to do when they need to bring down the 8-tails. He was being stabbed through and that didn't really seem to do anything but make him realize he was in a genjutsu.

It could be. "It" didn't show the genjutsu part of it, he just started divulging after the eye "scene" was shown.
