Never said I liked the guy, just giving reasons as to why people would like him. The dude's just too perfect for his own good...kind of like some immortal Uchiha we've scene recently.

But....how many of those ninja that got where they were based on talent are S+ nin?

You're limiting yourself to one category. S+ ninja are not the representatives for the whole Naruto world.

That said, Minato, 2nd Mizukage, and 3rd Raikage presumably. Mu and Onoki were born broken so I can't count them. Itachi and Sasuke are very talented but they had good genes. Bee was also talented but he did have Jinchuriki backup, along with Yagura and Naruto. And Tobi is just broken.

Minato doesn't count because he was the one I mentioned as an near exception!

Minato, despite being badass in battle, put the Kyuubi into his son with no one to really look after him. He gets no pass. uhuh

I was talking about Itachi and him trying to be a badass in a situation that is in no need of it.

Yes, Minato sucks in that regard but his plan is kind of flawed. I mean one of the reasons why he put it in Naruto was so that an Uzumaki would be it's jinchuruki and to not give the burden to anyone outside his family yet he could use Shiki Fuujin anytime he wanted; by extention making Naruto the host whenever the Kyuubi popped up again.

Meh, I can't really blame Minato for that. He couldn't have predicted the amount of hatred the villiagers would make Naruto a scapegoat for. He probably thought Sarotobi would take better care of his son that just giving him his own flat and doing nothing else.

Minato is a stupid douche.
