Which ones? He was only with Killerbee, Kakashi, and Gai last time we checked.

As for everyone else, well, we got to see them do a lot of war fighting with no Naruto around for awhile, so now they're resting.

How could you forget Gyuuki!?

Yeah. Supporting cast, Naruto, and now Sasuke(Uchiha in general). Seems Naruto has various arcs that are devoted to each of these, with some overlapping(I for one see the Kage Summit Arc to be more about the Kage than Sasuke, who is just the guy the Kage beat up).

I love donuts. Just bought some Krispy Kreme donuts for the office because one of my employees had his last day, today. 🙁 But, they were good donuts. 🙂

But about he other characters....we got to see some during this war because they were revived. We also got to see some back at Konoha, rebuilding konoha after pain had destroyed it.

I assume Kishiomoto (the writer of naruto) will give us some wrap-up with Naruto. I hope the last arc is Naruto getting his chunin and then jonin levels of ninja-hood.

I wouldn't say nowhere, but unknown. Meh.

Sooo, any ideas as to how Kishi might have the good guys stop Edo-Madara?

Indeed.

Well...if Itachi doesn't ruin the fun, I see Madara winning. The only good guy capable of fighting Madara would be Naruto.

Pretty sure someone could find out where your issues come from. 😛

Barring Itachi and Naruto, one of the bad guys could stop Madara, i.e. Tobi or maybe even Sasuke.

You asked about the good guys stopping him. uhuh

Btw, we've talk about how Hashirama's power and such has been adjusted up.

What other power changes do you think have been changed?

I think Kakashi was bumped up, what with the 'Haku's stronger than me,' comment.

Likewise I think Kage in general were bumped before the Hiruzen/Oro/Edo Kage showdown, what with a ninja of Zabuza's level being able to angle for the job. While he's very strong, he's obviously not a level with the Kage types we see in part 1.

Lesse...Naruto in general had to be bumped up considerably due to lolSasuke.

But in general...Orochimaru had a big bump. His performances in part 1 are laughable compared to part 2. Gaara but yeah there is him. Guy never showed much of his stuff before so I guess he wasn't bumped. Asuma was bumped up a bit perhaps.

The one thing to get bumped down was the age=sucking thing that affected Hiruzen in part 1. Onoki and Chiyo are both older than him and have better feats, with their old age only being a problem on occasion.

That isn't exactly how the line went.

He said that in some parts of the world, there are ninjas younger than Naruto, but stronger than him. He didn't explicitly say Haku was, he was just making a point to make Naruto realise that age doesn't always mean power. Also, Zabuza's referring to Haku as stronger than him was also a mistranslation, IIRC, what he said was that "In some ways Haku has grown more dangerous than me."

Yea, but at the same time... Kakashi grew to be portrayed as one of the very strongest in Konoha, and we haven't seen any young Ninja that'd fit that description.

Not counting a jinchuuriki who gets overwhelmed and goes full-biju, but that's the biju more than the kid.

Mind, Oro's second part 1 S-level fight was arguably more impressive than the first, despite having a handicap* the second time around. I think by later in part 2 Kishimoto at least wanted to convey that the Sannin had more tricks and powers that we hadn't seen.

*Get it? He didn't have working arms!

That's not very funny and is a bit inappropriate.

Oh, wait, that's what makes it funny. haermm2

It was more impressive than the Kage fight I suppose but still they didn't do much. Tsunade was the most impressive in that fight. But yeah, I can see that argument.

Disarmed would have worked as well. 😛

Literally *all three* of them had disadvantages. Tsunade, her blood thing, Jiraiya, drugged, Orochimaru, arms.

Kishimoto clearly knew he wanted the power level to go up from there, even though it was the biggest fight to date.

True enough, though, one could argue that it was hinted based on him beating Zabuza, one of the very strongest of the Mist village, who slaughtered the current class of ninja to be while being an untrained boy. He was clearly portrayed as a cut above what "genin trainer" suggests.

Indeed, all 3 were at their weakest. Tsunade from the blood thing(and getting hurt some from her Kabuto fight for sure), and the others do to stuff.

Yeah I think so too. Even by the Retrieval Arc you can kinda see it. I think the real shock is just how powerful it eventually got. Deidara was probably the worst offender lol in the early stages of Shippuden.

Can't quite remember the context of the quote (so tell me if I'm wrong here), but if Land of Waves arc Naruto is used as a benchmark, Young Kimimaro would count. The rest of his clan were scared shitless of him.
There's also Itachi who became a Chuunin at 10, and Kakashi, who became one at 6. Obito is another one I think.
IMO, Naruto wasn't yet Chuunin level at that point, despite having Kage level chakra reserves due to the Kyuubi.

Or is it Haku that is being used as the benchmark?

But Sasuke will become good sometime down the road, and Tobi's a good boy. 313
