We had to use our graphing calculators quite often in highschool...but we also had lots of homework and not enough time to do the calculations manually.

No, that's a very poor example. Minato walked all over Tobi and made him look like a fool in every speed category including teleportation despite Tobi's GK porting tech.
Also, Naruto's Kurama Chakra Mode had so much speed that Naruto literally single-handed turned the tide of the War. The Zetsus could not react fast enough to Naruto's attacks.
