Yeah Nagato was pretty much not in a condition to fight. I mean, I guess maybe he and Konan could have worked in conjunction and done something but it doesn't seem Nagato's style.
That and keep in mind, Nagato does like to discuss things like this. He didn't with Jiraiya when they fought but Naruto was someone he was interested in hearing from. Had Nagato not decided to accept Naruto's answer, they would have fought.

I would note that, even at that point, Naruto was a bad*ss because he was in sage mode in the confrontation.
Honestly, Konan was the biggest threat when Naruto confronted Nagato.

I think those chapters get so much hate because "Talk no Jutsu" worked on Nagato. However, those chapters were quite poetic and well written. And Nagato knew the information that Naruto presented to him, all along...but he failed to put the pieces together. When Naruto brought it all together, Nagato had an epiphany and realized that he had failed, all along, to uphold his original intentions.

Mei is once again shafted so that someone else can look good, though in this case it was Tsunade so that is better than Onoki at least. The reveal of the Edo Tensei thing was good but also leads to the question of why Tobirama(who HAD to have known the seals) didn't free himself the moment he was summoned by Orochimaru. Madara gets to stick around for a bit longer at least and got to do so not because of a magic Rinnegan power but because of his past knowledge(he may have remembered the seals because of his Sharingan though). Dan and Tsunade actually have a sweet moment and we got to see his technique in action. And most importantly, Chiyo cameo. And she makes a joke while dying. Awesome. I hope I'm that cool when I'm old.
First point....I agree. Come on. With the potential mei has, Kishi is gonna troll her with some fir justu? Really. Kishi must really not like her to let her be trolled like this.
as for the Tobirama issue, I would say it is alot easier to control two people compared to dozens, as well as Madara> Tobirama so more means to resist for Madara.
Still hoping ALL of the Kage rise to the occasion.

And Nagato would have died. Konan may have been able to defeat him given how wore out Naruto was, but nagato would have been useless.

Madara would have to start jobbing severely for them to kick his anus.
The way I count it, A should have the most chakra left of them. Followed by Terumi.
Onoki's the most drained, followed by Gaara, and then Tsunade's at who knows? (she's used the second largest, but got the boost)

Yea, what was Nagato going to do? Gravity-pulse and blow away his own life support chair? Chakra absorption and get punched in the face? He already tried shooting chakra-rods and that didn't work too well.
