I think they have. They pushed him until he had to pull out his biggest gun. Without the bullshit that is the Final Susanoo, they would win.

Well that one combo attack is perhaps the only time Madara had to take them seriously. Every other incident was just a result of Madara dicking around.

Effectively yeah. Remember, Madara could have dropped some more meteors on their head whenever.

This fight, he's used, I think, 3-4 chidori/varients and 3 kamui, two of which were small and precise.

One of which was massive and intended to take out something as large as the Mazou's head. Granted, it did get neutralized.

Yea but for story it would make sense, that he was obito. Only kakashi would be all why obito and the name of the chapter, kakashi finally shows emotions or something like that. And kakashi found out tobi is obito and Madara recruited him from the beginning and Madara is his teacher.

The one who attacked Konoha has Tobi's jutsu, which Madara has yet to show.

So based on an unproven assumption, we can know definitively that it was definitely "Akatsuki Tobi" that attacked Konoha and not an older Madara who has been eye-swapping?

What unproven? We saw him use his jutsu and fighting style, down to touches like the chains Akatsuki Tobi is using right now.

Because he looks like Tobi, fights like Tobi, has Tobi's abilities, lacks Madara's abilities(including the Senju ones that require no eye), acts like Tobi and not Madara, is recognized by Minato inside Naruto's seal, and a ton of other incidences that wouldn't make this idea make sense.

And yeah no, gonna cut you off before you quote this, individually looking at each reason and trying to rationalize around them. Not gonna reply because Tobi is so obviously Aoba.

You can't see his eyes after all and Kabuto seems to imply that something is up with him!

No but yeah, if it were Aoba I'd be as content if it were Obito. Maybe even more so.
