Also, just realized this: Chiyo and Kimmimaro fought the Samurai mooks, Mifune, and one of Naruto's clones(One of the special kinds that can defeat S+ ninja with help). Maybe bump either of them up? Fighting evenly with Naruto is pretty impressive.
Someone acknowledge this at least. :T

You keep up with it?
I watched the Sasuke vs. Kages fight and was extremely disappointed. The last fight I saw was Gai vs. Kisame. I just said **** it after that. That fight was horribly animated.
I mean look at this shit.
Starts at 11 minutes in. Just terrible.
Now that I rewatch it, Minato vs Tobi was pretty nicely animated.
I liked this fight. Might be because of the two people involved or because of the way it's handled but idk.

Like, look at that fight, then compare it to this one:
That's top-tier animation right there. You can feel how fast Kakashi and Hidan's sparring is. You can see how superhuman they all are.

It's ultimately preference. Do you prefer the slower, more methodical fights or the faster, chaotic battles? I prefer the former for sure since they'll leave a longer impression in my humble opinion but I can see arguments for both.
Then again, there are quite a few Naruto battles that can incorporate both.
all they have to do is make filler episodes of the fights, that way people don't skip episodes and we get to see some cool animation as well as new jutsu. there are already examples of this like: the deidara vs sasuke fight; the above hidan/kakuzu vs team asuma w/ kakashi fight, the infamous pein vs naruto, etc.
still angry over getting cheated out of kakashi's rampage.
