Yes it was. He developed a super duper technique that very few if any people could have developed on the entire Earth. He also delivered the blow with forward thought on par with Shikarmaru.

Yeah it was.

Naruto in terms of fighting Taijutsu, sure, is not skilled, but he has shown to be a highly competant battle tactitian, not on Shika's level of course, but combined with his personal powers, he doesn't need to be.

wait a sec.... can't naruto just create a resengan/wind shuriken with a clone so that the real naruto doesn't suffer the feedback?

i mean, he did pull that move against kakuzu to make him jump back, why not always do that move to avoid injury?

if it's possible, naruto could potentially oneshot anyone in CQC, regardless of who they are.

I think so.

He isn't the brightest bulb in the box.

Itachi crushes him, Pain crushes him, Kisame cuts him to shreds. You push things to far.

In CQC.

Learn to read.

And with that move, if he could use it, he COULD one shot most.

Couldn't Pein just absorb it?

Possibly.

And I said most lol.

Characters like Pein or Madara could block or avoid it.

How about his use of clones to mimic the Lion's Barrage? Granted, he kinda stole the move(then again so did Sasuke to an extent), but found a way to use it without speed.

Or his fight with Gaara?

Lions barrage? Are you referring to his fight with Kiba? Because he had a pretty decent opening, he didn't really need the lion combo to finish him off. Getting Kiba in the eye with a kunai is just as effective and let's not forget that he got his opening on accident.

Yeah, his fight with Gaara. Where Naruto used clones mid air to shift his momentum? As wonderful as it was, it doesn't really require a genius to use clones as a distraction, or help him avoid enemy attacks.

Yes, his fight with Neji where Naruto managed to do one smart thing before PIS wrestled control over the rest of the fight. Having a clone stand still was pretty smart.

1. I don't find it all that creative.

2. Once again, it's just stabbing someone with a kunai. It's not a particularly strong move.

3. Yeah, that works as "clever" I guess. But it's like, Neji was near death and instead of fighting him, naruto somehow dug 5 feet underground in 2 seconds...

These are all things that can fool your opponent, but they're not particularly clever or comparable to something a creative 12 year old could come up with.

By your logic, pretty much no one in the naruto-verse is "clever" than minus Shikamaru... the whole show depends on PIS.

And I'm not sure what a creative 12 year old ahs to do with anything. Are you saying that if a creative 12 year old thinks up something it's nto clever, because a 12 year old thought it up?

Why do I need to learn to read. Everybody knows he isn't that smart.

When fighting Itachi or Pein they would just copy the move, yes they can do that, and they will cancel each other out.
