Uh- no. Rasengan can not be copied. FACT.
Sharingan copies physical movement. It can copy a jutsu by copying the hand seals which is a physical movement. It can copy Taijutsu because taijutsu is physical movement. The Rasengan is nto formed with physical movement, like a handseal. The only physical movement is moving your hand rapidly over the ball, controlling it's energy. 90% of the formation of a Rasengan does not invovle physical movement, which is why Jiraiya reccommended it for Naruto in the first place. As a result the Sharingan can not copy it.
well there isnt reallu much evidence for it. also, how many techniques HAS the sharingan actually copied in observable instances? theres the water release dragin, and there is the lion barrage. the sound nin;s techniques, it cudnt do, becaus eof the lacking physicology etc, it cudnt coy gaara's techniques, it cudnt copy uro's jutsus when sasuke fought against jim, snake hands n stuff, it cudnt copu the genjutsu of the three ninjas in the chuunin exams, it cudnt copy kakashi's walking uphil/chakra shoes, it cudnt cupy raasengan, it cudnt copy that guy's chakra absorbtion, it cudnt copy any of the sound nin's jutsus, {not the three kids but the 4 guys}, it cudnt copythe cursed seal, ot didnt copy any of tenari's jutsus, it hasnt shown any of kabuto's jutsus, it has shown uro's kawamari{but that cud be learnt or due to uro's body, it hasnt shown the regeneration techniques or the rashamon ultimae defence or any of suigetu's water jutsus or itachi's non mangekyo genjutsus. it hasnt shown any of diedara's jutsu either or that painter guy's techniques. even though uro wants him for exactly the power to copy jutsus and that was its basic power in the beginning. these days its more about kyuubi/sopecial jutsus it can peform/genjutsu/anti genjutsu/perception etc.
