Oh yeah and I liked it.

I thought the same thing. It was getting a tad creepy for a second there. Then I realized I was a sick person as he hugged her.

What is wrong with us? 🙁 We are twisted. 🙁

I liked this chapter a bunch. It was very enjoyable. It just confirmed/filled in the holes for stuff we had already guessed. I liked it.

Shitty Chapter was shitty, but I guess they were meant to explain what happened at some point, so may as well do it before Obito is killed by Kakashi.

Meh chapter was okay I guess though

Spoiler:
Why does Nagato have the Rinnegan in both eyes if Madara only gave him one. More importantly why Nagato unless he already knew he would be able to summon Gedo Mazo.

I also don't get why Kishi is trying to make Obito a tragic villain right now.

Tzeentch- it's not like we didn't know of this power transferring before.

Spoiler:
He gave Nagato both. The eye in Madara's head is purely a replacement, both originals were transfered.

And he knew Nagato could because Uzumaki, and probably observing his potential.

I also don't get why Kishi is trying to make Obito a tragic villain right now.

It's part of the theme.

Nagato is obviously Madara's son.
vin

He's making every antagonist tragic in some way.

Calling it now: Orochimaru was molested as a child. And then his cat died.

And thats terrible.

Eh, his pet white snake died while he was being molested by a cat with a transplanted Sharingan.

Really? when did he say that? I'll have to reread the chapter.

Yeah but right now? And how is Madara tragic? So far he's a powerhungry douche who want to rule thet world and apparently has a major mancrush on Hashirama.

Well, we haven't seen Madara's pre-death flash-back, but he did have to kill his friend and he took his brother's eyes.
To be honest, Kisame didn't have a tragic past either. Obito's is a little underwhelming too, even though Kishi pulled off Rin's death and his desolation fairly well.

Kakuzu's story is very tragic. He wanted money, but didn't have all of it.

And Hidan? Most tragic of all!

I think kinda the point is that the ninja world really *manufactures* tragic pasts!

Yeah, the ninja world is such a ****ed up place that maybe the Moons Eye plan isn't so monstrous. It probably would be an improvement.

But after this I'm betting there'll be peace since all the villages have banded together.

maybe. especially given how easy it is for ninjas to hate one another to the point if killing.

and I think that is exactly what Kishi has planned; after this war, fighting eac other would be kind of pointless for the villages.

But he wanted money to pay for his surgeries.
Hidan's god betrayed him. Very tragic.

But I think the most tragic one is Mizuki. He never got his hands on a scroll he wanted badly!

Yeah, that is a point Kishi has been trying to get across.

nagato's apparently a very heavy sleeper

Maybe he was placed under genjutsu.

Zabuza never got to be Mizukage.

Gato never got to own a country.

that's not what madara implied.

He didn't really imply anything except that it was all done in secret. My guess is he used some of Hashirama's pollen to knock him out or as Neph said a genjutsu.

I wonder if Nagato kept his eyes covered because he was self conscious about them? Would be neat.

why is this a surprise to you? Uchiha's have been tragic figures since pre-time skip.
