At the same time, the mangastream translation seems to take more liberties, i.e. the porny translation last chapter.

Well, now that I understand what was happening, it makes sense why they needed Hinata's byakugan: Hinata can see really far with her byakugan so her vision helped aim Ino's "Shintenshin no Jutsu" right at the correct target.

To be fair Tashigi is the One Piece version of Kurenai minus the baby-making. She can't be blamed for Oda hating her.

So anybody for the 4 other Kages(not Tsunade) showing up magically healed up later on. At this point I kind of wonder how Orochimaru and Sasuke are supposed to contribute to this war.

Oh, definitely. Kurenai doesn't get repeatedly shown sucking, and when she lost, she looked competent and cool-headed but outmatched, rather than badly outmatched *and* complaining about being shown mercy (which is... yea, bad).

Definitely...I think Ino has earned at least a B+ from all that she's done in the war if not an A- rank though that could be going too far.

^ A- is definitely going too far.

I might be forgetting something else that Ino has done; but I don't think distracting Obito for literally 2 seconds flat puts her above or even equal with Sakura, especially considering that she would have been utterly incapable of performing the feat if she hadn't used Hinata as a proxy.

Sakura > Ino.

She's more resourceful perhaps. And Ino no longer has to be passed out to use her mind-swap thing...so that's an improvement. So yeah I'd say she's on par with Sakura though not for combat purposes.

She also possessed Kinkaku and triggered the sealing jar from inside him.

Plus she possessed Choji when he was hesitating and fought as him, and possesses two Zetsu clones at once.

Her power is awesome hax, it just has it's limits (can't do anything else while doing it).

she was fodder against kakuzu. she still sucks
