What's also interesting is that the Uzumaki knew how to get souls back from the Shinigami. Which must be why they must have tried to deter/hide the method by using so many masks. Plus it also kills the user.

So I take it that Oro went into a Zetsu body in order to avoid being sacrificed to the Shiki Fujin. Also I'm amazed that Konoha was able to recover from being a crater in little over a month. So....there were Zetsus chilling in Sasuke's body the whole time ?

This kind of chapter reminds me that Naruto isn't supposed to be entirely about overpowered kamehamehas.

It's the ability of one very specific character type. The Biju are the only ones doing it; the story has hardly devolved into DBZ territory... that's a ridiculous thing to think. It's like saying the Series has turned turned into just a whole bunch of summons spamming during the Pain arch, or that the series turned into just a whole bunch of sharingan spamming during the Sasuke/Itachi arch.

The series never even came close to becoming entirely about beast bombs, it just happens to be the ability of the character the story is focusing on atm.

lol, Edo Tensei has been used waaaaay more than Beast bombs.

Ten years foward into the series: the second and third Edo Tensei war.

I'd say that win was justified by them merely trying to wear him down, not worrying about defense, and being purposefully limited to a small box where they couldn't do anything too huge.
