I like how Madara and Hashirama are like being portrayed as bff's these days when the two clans have been said to be at constant war against each other, and when one was hired the other clan was hired to make sure they didn't win. I mean that's wouldn't put a strain on a friendship or anything lol.
The flashback within a flashback kind of makes sense with them clashing at their strongest, cause Naruto/Sasuke do that weird thing when they clash.
Flashbackception...🙂 But that aside it was a pretty cool chapter. The Gods of Shinbi duking it out and whatnot. It makes me question whether or not Hashirama and Madara actually made the VotE in this fight or if it was just named after them. Cause I have some doubts they would've contained all of this in one concentrated area.

Sorry, but how exactly is sticking a chakra sword through a Bijuu ball and then tossing it, an originator to Rasenshuriken, other than the fact that it looked similar? (To be honest, I also thought it looked like Rasenshuriken)
On that note, Hashirama did a blatant Rasengan move in the last chapter, only with a Bijuu-dama.
Also, what Hashirama used before he created that huge statue was some new version of Sage Mode (maybe the Slug/third version?). The jutsu name was prefaced with SenpÅ, which is translated as Sage Art. But yeah, it might be similar to Tsunade's Byakugou, because Madara said Hashirama could heal his wounds without using Hand-seals, which would happen in Sage Mode.

I wasn't trying to say he literally created the rasenshuriken, just that it couldn't possibly have been a coincidence on Kishi's part that he made Madara's attack look exactly like a rasenshuriken... in appearance only.
